Efficient booking in. Quiet. Everything I needed. A long way to walk from the station. Not 10 mins as described.

This was as good as it gets for a well priced short stay. We intended to book a B&B but through the website realised we could stay in one of the very well appointed lodges with a kitchen, lounge, separate bedroom and shower room (Including continental breakfast in the privacy of your own lodge. Great value, lovely secluded location in the owners extensive garden, abundant wildlife and outdoors facilities. Warm, comfortable, well appointed and spotless. We will be returning. Would have appreciated separate heating in the bathroom but a minor niggle written in the depths of winter!

Having access to a full kitchen including a washing machine. very friendly owners who clearly care about you. the double bed was small. the sofa and sofa bed are very worn and I'm sorry to say may have bugs as I had bites and was itching when on it. The gravel approach to the lodges is noisy and hard to walk on, a few paving stones between would make it easier for people like me a bit unsteady on my feet and it would elliminate the noise.

Warm Welcome when we arrived. Shown around our surroundings and the lodge. The owner told us about local events and reconmended pubs to us. Then left us to our own devices. We cooked in the lodge and enjoyed our time together. Breakfast was provided for us so we got up when we wanted and ate a lovely breakfast. When we left the owner came out to wave us goodbye and asked if we needed any directions or advice. The village is close to several seasides which is perfect. We had a fantastic time and look forward to going back soon. Thank you very much. The only thing was that the heater didn't work in our bedroom and that was all. Everything else was lovely.

I booked at the last munite on booking.com. I am glad I did as the lodge is a hidden gem. It is well equipped, comfortable and clean. the owners of the lodge could not have been more helpful and have the right balance between making sure you have what you need, without interferring in your stay and the peace an quiet. It was a very pleasant and relaxing stay, and I would certainly use the lodges again for business and pleasure. Comfort and cleanliness Friendliness of owners Peace and quiet!

Nice alternative to a Travelodge or Premier Inn as they do nightly rates. Also the welcome pack of food was a nice touch. A good alternative if staying for more than one night, as more space than a conventional hotel room. Felt as though we were intruding on the family house by having to walk past their back door to get to the lodge

The Garden Lodges were fantastic and very surprising. There was loads of space, the beds were comfortable and I loved the little breakfast they supplied. My children loved it and now we've found it we wouldn't stay anywhere else. The shower could be a little more powerful.

Lodge was modern and clean. Like a motel, it had all facilities we required & more! The iron and ironing board was very useful. The free tea and coffee and bottle of milk and loaf of bread and marmalade and tub of butter/margarine and cereals was very generous as we only stayed one night. We were very impressed with the large size of our lodge. We had our own very large and spacious lounge with two sofas, tv, coffee table and dining table and open plan kitchen with oven etc etc. a large foyer, bathroom with large shower and bedroom. The decor was tasteful. The Place was very clean and we were very impressed indeed particularly given the little price they charged. They don't accept card though so just remember to bring cash with you!

The garden lodges was perfect for us as the lodges contain their own kitchen which was essential for us with a newborn. The owners were knowledgable and attentive, the surroundings very peaceful and the gardens lovely. The fact breakfast is self service worked out great for us, we can recommend "Fred's Cafe" in Frinton for a cooked one if you like but cereal, yoghurts and bread are left for you. We esepcially appreciated the bread as we didnt finish it all but could take it home for tea as we would have arrived too late home to shop.

We liked the freedom to get up in the morning when it suited us and to enjoy a leisurely breakfast. If the weather is fine you can eat outside! The check out time of 12pm is fantastic. The accommodation was warm and friendly and everything we needed was provided. We accidently left our ipad in the lodge and Debbie kindly phoned us to let us know!

Wow my wife and I were really surprised at the high standard of accommodation and the friendliness of the owners, they could not be more helpful and were always available to answer any questions about the area and things to do and see. Our only regret was late we couldn't stay longer. Will definitely return. Absolutely nothing
