The location was just perfect and the breakfast was very nice. People in the breakfast room were very talkative and friendly because you might have to share a table because of limited seating! The staff were very good and efficient, but lacked warmth.

The single room was rather small, but everything I needed, including tv, hair-dryer and kettle etc. was squeezed in. The hotel does have a quaintness about it, and my wee room had a beautiful big window which looked out on Cartwright Gardens. The breakfast was fine, and the dining room pleasant. It didn't feel like the production line which it must undoubtedly be. The lack of an en-suite was a big inconvenience, but I knew that when I booked. And there was a basin in the room which helped a bit.

Fantastic staff, Brilliant location Breakfast room was small- had to wait for our turn!!!! Shared toilet/shower at fairly higher end prices (u can easily find a B&B/hotel that would have ensuite facilities at the price George charged us)

The location is great, near to tube station I was really disappointed with the shower facility. The water flow is really weak, and the temperature of the water kept changing. I think I caught a cold just because of the morning shower. I hope the hotel could do something about that.

Fair breakfast I have a lot to complain. - the hotel was under renovation, all the place was just painted. some close was spoiled since the stairs are very narrow. - we got a room at the 3rd floor and the hotel is without an elevator. We were suppose to carry all the bags up, a very difficult mission. - water preasure in the bath almost does not exist - the bathroom is practically a place which you can not feel comforatble even standing, of course if you need to use it for it's pupose - the structure is moving and the feeling is unsafe.

Proximity to Euston station and parking arrangement - parking was a key requirement and £9 per day was excellent I had a mid-floor room and the noise from the room above at 5am was enough to wake me

Just a 10 minute walk from Euston Station. My bright, clean room had a view over the rooftops behind the hotel and was furnished well for a budget hotel with desk, chair, wardrobe, washbasin and a comfy bed with spotless sheets and good pillows, fan, TV and more coffee and tea supplies than I have ever seen. The shared shower room and toilet were located next but one, both were clean and modern. I am a light sleeper and considering I was in central London it was probably the quietest night I have ever spent in a hotel, I was woken up by seagulls and the cooing of a wood pigeon rather than by the usual traffic noise. Traditional English breakfast was served in the small, bright dining room and there was plenty of choice and everything freshly cooked to order, a welcome change from the greasy buffet that sometimes greets you, or a croissant and a cup of coffee if you are lucky, in other (much more expensive) hotels. The staff serving breakfast were efficient and friendly and the reception staff were also very welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The area around the hotel was very pleasant with many small shops, pubs and cafes. Within 2 minute walk were Indian, Chinese, fish and chip restaurants (and takeaway) coffee shops, deli, sandwich shop, tapas bar, burger bar and 2 friendly local pubs. My single room was on the top floor, up three flights of stairs, the last very narrow so not for the unfit or with lots of luggage!

Great location, you could walk from Euston Station to drop your bags and then within walking distance for a lot of the sights. Clean rooms, good breakfast. There was a kettle and tea and coffee in the room also.

Hotel is in a nice area. I requested a quiet room and had one at the back of the hotel, but four floors to the top. The breakfast was good and the staff helpful. Liked the dining area and got into conversation on two mornings with other diners which as a solo traveller was good. All in all I had a very good stayl Long climb up steep stairs to the top of the hotel. No place for the infirm. Also a litte concerned about the escape route in the event of fire

The central location is perfect for a stay in the city - the hotel is in beautiful old terrace house and had a old school rambling feel about it. The staff in reception seemed very uninterested in guests, the floors creaked badly and while in the room I could here the floors creaking in the room above me and in the corridor, this was at time loud enough to wake me. The single room was small - I had to lift my bag over the bed to get to to the cupboard as there was no room to move.

The George is in a great location in Bloomsbury. It is only a 15 min walk from Kings Cross/St Pancras and is walking distance to many central London sites. The room was fine, but small. The shared bathroom facilities were more limited than I expected.

Very small, tiny washing basin and bathroom, but location is good, just steps away from Russel square station, and the shopping center. Probably good for individuals for travelling in the City, but definitely not appropriate for family with young children, as there is no elevator, and it would be difficlut to move between different floors with heavy belongs. Breakfast is ok, with eggs, hams, and toast upon demand.

You get a friendly welcome and the full English breakfast is served with a friendly smile and is very tasty. This is included in the great price and you can have more of whatever you want. Bed was very comfortable and it is in a great location too! There are only a couple of things that I can think of. 1) No lift 2) no air con But in fairness it does say this on web site because it is a listed building.
