the Italian restaurant in the area and the Brunswick shopping centre for Breakfast. Having to share toilet and shower. Once you got by reception area the hotel needed refurbishment and the carpets needed cleaning and to be fitted correctly.

Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable although I hate blankets these days (duvets are much more hygenic). Shared bathroom was in a terrible state - would not stay here again unless I could have ensuite

The location of this hotel was fantastic. Also, the inclusion of a breakfast that you could order to suit (and was brought to your table) was a big step up from similarly priced B&B alternatives in the area. The communal showers needed better doors/walls around them. The floors of the shower rooms outside the tub were regularly wet or flooded.

Really nice breakfast room. A very nice area. Close to tube (Russel Sq Station). Pub just around the corner. Nice tv-sets. Tiny rooms. A bit pricy all things considered.

Good location and fairly quiet Bathroom - shower curtain not fixed properly kept falling down. No plug in the bath so it was unusable. Very small room.

Shared bathroom was a very small wetroom and was not very pleasant to use after someone else as the whole floor was soaking.

The central location is perfect for a stay in the city - the hotel is in beautiful old terrace house and had a old school rambling feel about it. The staff in reception seemed very uninterested in guests, the floors creaked badly and while in the room I could here the floors creaking in the room above me and in the corridor, this was at time loud enough to wake me. The single room was small - I had to lift my bag over the bed to get to to the cupboard as there was no room to move.

The George is in a great location in Bloomsbury. It is only a 15 min walk from Kings Cross/St Pancras and is walking distance to many central London sites. The room was fine, but small. The shared bathroom facilities were more limited than I expected.

Very small, tiny washing basin and bathroom, but location is good, just steps away from Russel square station, and the shopping center. Probably good for individuals for travelling in the City, but definitely not appropriate for family with young children, as there is no elevator, and it would be difficlut to move between different floors with heavy belongs. Breakfast is ok, with eggs, hams, and toast upon demand.

Location was just what we wanted convenient for underground and short walk to the station. Nice leafy location on Bloomsbury. Room was nice and warm and comfy beds. Very nice breakfast, which is a pleasant surprise in a city location. Decor and furnishings were worn and in need of an update. Carpets on the staircases were getting a bit threadbare, The room would benefit from secondary double glazing units ane the en-suite was miniscule.

You get a friendly welcome and the full English breakfast is served with a friendly smile and is very tasty. This is included in the great price and you can have more of whatever you want. Bed was very comfortable and it is in a great location too! There are only a couple of things that I can think of. 1) No lift 2) no air con But in fairness it does say this on web site because it is a listed building.

Cooked breakfast was welcome on a cold winter's day and the staff were friendly and helpful. I should have looked further at the details of the hotel about the lack of a lift. Took mother on trip to London but as she suffers from arthritis negating the stairs was a bit of a nightmare. Hotel was fully booked so couldn't change. Not keen on the communal toilet and shower facilities so should have checked that further when booking.
