Good location for West End and Kings Cross/St Pancras. I had one of the renovated rooms, which was very nice: excellent 'wet room' bathroom.
Minor issues: 1. bed was a very small double. OK for a person alone, but would have been small had we have been two 2. no lift to top floor, so you may need help with heavy luggage 3. air conditioning was a bit unresponsive
It's only few mins walk to King Cross Station which is a bonus. The hotel is in a nice quiet area with few lovely restaurants/pubs etc around. Go to Burger and Shake if u fancy an easy but tasty meal near the hotel. I would go back and stay in this hotel again. Impressed with friendly helpful staff. One staff even learned one sign language for us seeing my friend and I are deaf. I'd definitely recommend others to stay in this hotel. The twin room with ensuite room is lovely as you can tell it has recently been updated. You won't be disappointed. I guarantee you.
Nothing...i'm happy with the hotel overall.
The Location was perfect for my stay as wanted to be close to Euston and easy access to Wembley via Tube Staff were friendly and let me check in early without any extra charge Breakfast was filling and extra's were able to be asked for at no extra charge
Bathroom a little too cramped Around £20 too expensive for a 2 night stay
Good for train station, easy to find. Staff friendly and good knowledge of city. Nice breakfast too.
Well where to start! Sounded like we were above a tube station, so getting to sleep was tricky. To be woken by banging and chopping above us in kitchen. Shared WC was not even near room. The place is very basic, I only stayed in basement so the other floors may be better.
Good location for travelling from King's Cross/St. Pancras. Small but clean room.
Bathroom sink was very small making brushing teeth almost impossible. The heating was ūcentrally controlled and we found the room to be hot but could not make it cooler.
Location, staff and breakfast. Very helpful in leaving our luggage so that we didn't need to take it with us as we toured London.
Not every hotel you go to has such a cumfy bed!
Hated not having a bathroom in the room! Very old building, can hear every sound and squeek
Breakfast was good, you had to pay 5 £ extra, but it was worth it. Staff was friendly.
The noise from the street was disturbing, even if it was a fairly quiet street, and my room was on the top floor. Wifi was terrible, it did not reach the third floor, so I didn't have internet at all during my 3-day stay.
Location good that's it.
Quality of room . Sharing shower and tiny toilet with other guests . Dumped rubbish outside the room window. A hotel worker drilling at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.
I loved my room on the third floor with a view of a magnificent plane tree and its calming whispering leaves. The room itself was clean and had all the necessary items if a person staying is not very demanding... Newly refurbished.
When doing my hair I thought that it would have been nice to have a mirror in the room not just in the bathroom (maybe inside the wardrobe?).
Room very clean and quiet and excellent breakfast. Laptop in reception handy to use, wi fi didn't work for me in the breakfast room.
Breakfast start time late.
Very clean hotel with friendly staff.
Room 6 is below the dining room & so if you're planning on sleeping after approx 7am, you may be disturbed by people upstairs. However, I mentioned this to the reception staff who were more than happy to move me for my second night stay.
The staff were cheerful and very helpful. The room had excellent en suite shower room and a comfortable bed. The breakfast £5 arrived promptly and tasted good.
There are major road reconstructions in the crescent the hotel looks over and so was at times noisy. This is the price you have to pay for being in central London.
Nice modern clean accomodation in a nice central area . 5 minute walk to train stations
Room was hot and we could not adjust temperature. We all slept on top of the covers of bed. Like many accomodation in London it has stairs only which is hard to carry all Luggage to room
Recently furnished and decorated rooms. New bathroom, clean throughout. Friendly staff.
Mattress on bed was very poor and uncomfortable.
The room - basic but everything we needed. Good range of TV. The available internet.
Breakfast - tinned tomatoes.
Single room recently renovated with very good en suite. Good value for money.
Stairways could do with an uplift
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room we had was re done, clean and comfortable and pretty roomy for London hotels. Close to train stations and buses.
Internet was mostly not available in our room on the 2nd floor and sometimes in the lobby as well. Only 1 computer in lobby to use.
the staff here are all friendly and helpful.
the basin is so small
Pleasant staff Ensuite single room Wifi access Decent breakfast for £5.00
Compact room but this is common in old London buildings Thin windows so definitely need earplugs, again same in many places All hairdryers were occupied when I requested one, not a big deal
No lift, no wifi in rooms
Pleasant staff, good location for my need, small but comfortable room, well appointed. Quiet location.
Brilliant location in heart of Bloomsbury near Brunswick Centre.
Unbearably hot. Bedside light not working..staff seemed uninterested and made no attempt to resolve the issue.
location breakfast price newly refurbished room lots of local eateries
