The food was excellent and service good. The room was in need of a make over - plugs in bath and sink off chains. Paint work needed sprucing up.

We liked the warm welcome from the staff and the breakfast was excellent! The room was comfortable. The cleanliness of the room was not exactly to a high standard. Lots of hair in the bath and around the bathroom. The bedroom was rather dusty but cant fault the clean bed linen and towels. There was a wedding that evening and although we could not hear the music we did not appreciate the other guests making so much noise when going to bed and I was woken up at 3.30am with a few guests runing and shouting down the corridors.

Staff were friendly and approachable and provided good service. Breakfast was lovely and cooked to order. I had a very comfortable bed with lovely pillows which meant I slept really well. The from was a good size and clean with a well stocked complimentary basket, made a nice change to have plenty of milk and tea bags. I had to sit on the window sill of my room to get a phone signal. Floorboards were a bit creaky outside my room.

Exceptionally friendly staff, could not have been more helpful. Rooms were very quiet, breakfast was delicious and generous. Rooms were clean and cosy, slept well both nights. Located in a stunning part of England, used it as a base to visit Longleat and Stonehenge. It doesn't seem fair to point out negatives but if pushed would say that getting a phone signal was difficult, though the inn has wifi so wasn't a big problem. The shower isn't very powerful.

Jamaica Inn is a fantastic place, The staff were great, food brilliant. We stayed in the new part, but had a chance to visit one of the haunted rooms - certainly spooky! Loved the stay! There is nothing not to like

Conveniently situated. Easy to find. Adequate parking. Quiet, despite being on a road. Friendly and relaxed. Food was good (unless you're a vegetarian). My room (11) was close to the door to the car park which was left open all evening. This didn't make the room feel very secure although it was still draft free. I could hear diners talking after I went up to my room.

The rooms were spacious and very neatly presented. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate facilities in the rooms which was great. Also, if you are staying for more than one night you can request for your room to be cleaned and replenished eat day for no extra cost. The fact there is a pub downstairs is also an added bonus as it isn't within walking distance of a town.

Good value for the room, based on the fact that it was reduced as a late booking. Would have been a bit pricy otherwise and I wouldn't have booked. Free Wi-fi Good quality food Absolutely no telephone reception (although there is a pub phone) Thought quality of food was good, if a little pricy. Soup, Steak and a glass of wine was £24. Would recommend but with provisos

Friendly staff The room I stayed in was very noisy, there was a water tank in the room next door that was separated by plasterboard. So you can imagine how bad the noise was from hearing water tank all night. There was no one available in reception after 1am, so if you had any problems during the night, don't expect any kind of service.

Really nice stay here from arrival the staff were friendly. The room was large and well decorated/maintained. The bar, with log fire, sells some good beers. Very tasty breakfast. Cannot fault the place and would stay there again without hesitation.
