Convenient for local places of interest e.g. Longleat and Stourhead. We had a very nice dinner in the restaurant - good food and reasonably priced. The service was "quirky" but acceptable. Try to avoid the rooms at the front of the hotel as, despite the double glazing, the noise from the main road and the junction outside, is very noticeable and starts quite early in the morning! |

This hotel is very central for Longleat (only 12 mins away). We had a decent room with good facilities and the food was lovely. Would stay if visiting Longleat again. |

We had a lovely big double room which was very clean.( our 2 sons had a smaller twin). internet access a big bonus especially for our teenage sons. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.Very nice relaxed atmosphere. food was excellent, breakfast lovely, a good choice and nice to have the newspapers. food in bar and restaurant was superb and very reasonably priced. we especially liked the gardens by the steam with plenty of good quality tables and chairs, nice to sit out and relax with a drink.( and the ducks !!) very near to Longleat which was main purpose of our visit .....great.... thank you. traffic noise. Decor in corridors etc a little dated. |

I booked The George Inn because of it's locality to Longleat and it's attractions, which was a special suprise that I arranged for my Fiancee. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We ate a superb evening meal on the night of our arrival and breakfast the following morning was excellent. The room was very nice with a great power shower! We would definately stay there again should we be visiting the area again. 10 out of 10. |

i found the staff were nice and freindly,the food was good. The room was very basic,the bed was very uncomfortable,the bedroom furniture was lob sideded,lock on bathroom door didn't lock,hardly any space for 4 people.Not what i would call 4 star. |

Our 4 year old Daughter loved the cabin bed as we had a family room. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The door downstairs leading to the bar would bang loudly as it closed. We could hear it very well in our room. A sanitary towel was left in our bathroom bin. |
