location The boiler broke and we didn`t have hot water for most of our stay - it did eventually get fixed but with a wedding to attend and only a cold shower on offer it wasn`t a good experience.

The room was very well decorated and the facilities excellent. There were plenty of clean towels and the electrical items, tv, kettle etc all worked (which in my experience) is novel. The Bed was a little uncomfortable but they are never like your own are they? The breakfast menu was super and I would have no hesitation in recommending the food. The English breakfast was top notch and the staff had no hesitation providing our specific requirements with the food.

A welcoming and friendly young staff and a decent breakfast. It was appalling. There was no hot water, and no heating in any of the public areas. The only heating in the room was an appliance that blew hot air in our faces. The stairways were inadequately guarded and unsafe. The hotel was undergoing refurbishment, and was in no condition to receive guests.

Easy access from railway station Very central for town Attentive staff Reasonably comfortable Quiet Took ages to get room temp right - fussy aircon fan. Walked past the place twice because NASEBY had fallen off (or not been added to) HOTEL on the front! Possibly it was renamed quite recently, but the new owners could have made the effort. I pointed this out to the reception but they didn't seem all that bothered either....

I found the Naseby Hotel to be excellent for my needs. My room was newly renovated, compact, comfortable with all new furniture, linens, large flat screet TV, and beautifully appointed bathroom. It was quiet, and as a woman traveler I felt very safe and secure. The staff was very helpful. The Pub (restaurant) food was very good. Excellent value. I would definitely stay there again if I am in Kettering.

Lovely clean, comfy, modern room & ensuite - both newly decorated. Staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed breakfast - a good selection of fruits, yoghurts, cereals and danish pastries as well as the usual cooked breakfast selection. I was attending a conference nearby and as I didnt like the food there, the staff at the Naseby kindly made me a sandwich for lunch each day and packed me off with more danish pastries all free of charge. Used room service one night and this was also of a high standard. A very nice hotel.

The only redeeming feature was the location. There was no central heating on when the temperature outside was 7 degrees. The walls were paper thin. The shower had the same force as an 80 year old man with prostate problems urine.

The welcome we received from reception was excellent. Room service was also excellent. We have only one complaint. At breakfast we received no welcome (ie. A good morning would have been nice). We had to ask for milk for our tea, we also had to ask for toast and we only had a pot of tea with no extra water (which is always provided in all the hotels we have stayed in). Milk and sauces were taken from a table that had been used. In our opinion this spoiled an excellent hotel. The breakfast we had was excellent and most enjoyable

This is a hotel finishing off a full refurbishment. The rooms have been totally modernised and are well equipped. The dining room was fine and the food good and reasonably priced. We were well satisfied with the hotel. The council are still mucking about outside the hotel and making access difficult. No fault of the hotel.

Very nicely renovated. The rooms were large enough and very clean and comfortable. The food in the hotel is also great value 1.No sign on the outside of the hotel made it difficult to find. 2.Internet is via a dongle that takes approx 10 mins to download the drivers before you even get on the internet. Once you've achieved this the internet is so slow and cuts out! 3.Shower was ice-cold. 4.No phone in the rooms to contact the reception

The hotel has recently been refurbished and as a result is easily as good as many so called "boutique" hotels in cities. The staff were helpful, polite and accomodating. The hotel is quiet and the lovely bar and restaurant deserve more notice from locals. Hopefully once the word gets aroung the Naseby (formally the George) hotel will become the success it deserves to be. Book it now! There is still some work in progress in the hotel and there is no wifi or in room phones at present. There are currently roadworks on the main road that cause considerable noise during the daytime. These points are minor in an otherwise great hotel experience.

We heard terrible reviews about this hotel and to be fair only booked it as the only hotel available on the night we wanted to stay. The service was impeccable (i'd forgot toothpaste and they went and bought us some!!), the breakfast was very nice and the room, although q small, was very clean and comfortable. Would definately stay again Room a little small but thats about it!!
