location was excelent,we came by train and it was only a short walk from the station. The room was comfortable and clean. The bar was good and friendly. There were wedding receptions on and they were very noisy and very lould music until midnight.It would have been nice to have been informed of this prior to arriving.

the location was good as we were near all shops and restaurants we were not told that there was a wedding in the hotel the weekend we were there. we didnt get a lot of sleep because of the noise and music. The noise in the street was terrible. 3am and the noise was still unbearable

Very clean and comfortable. A pleasure to be upgraded to be a beautiful bedroom. Evening snack excellent. Staff very helpful. Perfect situation for all amenities. Super car park.. Site would have been more helpful in providing location of car park. Warm white wine served at bar.

Handy to our destination Handy to station Excellent breakfasts Felt very safe Wine by the glass was not to my taster - seemed to be a poor quality; We had difficulty with the heat inour bedroom - could not regulate it low enough; Staff appeared to me more functional that service focussed.

Warm, comfortable, and convenient for sightseeing. Staff couldn't answer simple enquiry regarding the hotels history. With a little imagination a salad of 95% iceberg lettuce could have been more palatable .

Food was excellent. Restaurant and bar were welcoming. Shower and bath had readily hot water. Bed was comfortable. Television had plenty of channels. Situation in town was perfect. Conference facilities were pleasing. Did not like the noisy heaters in the rooms. Skysports did not have a signal. Some window draught.

service/staff were friendly and helpful the carvery good value bathroom was nice and a good size.good breakfast bedroom looked out on to side of wall and a very noisy car park. the mattress was very lumpy and uncomfortable.window would not open and air con did not work.this is an honest review of room 46
