The room, food, and hotel staff were excellent, I would certainly recommend it and will definitely be going again.
Views Food Friendly and helpful staff Comfortable bed
No phone or wifi in room just public area
The friendly and helpful staff. The location and the views. The food.
Coming home. (A joke.)
Sea view room is excellent!
Gorgeous rooms, great location, great food and drink and lovely friendly staff. I am looking forward to visiting again
The beautiful beach you can see close by is a long walk to get over the A55 and train line. Normally wouldn't be a problem but we had walked Snowdon during the day of our stay
Very helpful staff. A nice garden to sit and have a drink in with great views over Conwy Bay. Room had both sea and mountain view.
Excellent food and staff delightful, couldn't do enough for us.
The room was comfortable but a bit small.
Staff were great and really helpful. Room lovely.
Live bands on a sat and sun night under your room
Very welcoming & helpful staff, Room was very clean, well stocked, very comfortable bed, with a wonderful view of the sea & countryside. Excellent range of beers & wines. Evening meals were especially good with an excellent variety - the Steak on the 'Steak Night' was' to die for' - Suculent, tender & full of flavour & locally sourced !
Having to leave at the end of our stay !
Nice beer, football was on, what more can you ask for?
This hotel is ideal for a relaxing and comfortable break. Excellent location to enjoy both the tranquility of the coast and the beautiful town of Conwy. We stayed in room 1 which has a panoramic sea view. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was accommodating with a decked area for people to enjoy the vista whilst enjoying drinks or a meal.
We were traveling by rail, and it was not convenient to get to.
Great view, comfortable room with workspace and space to relocate the kettle, etc to so I could spread my laptop, etc out. Lovely staff, choice of real ales and excellent food. Highly recommended.
Having a room with a poor outlook (disappointing after the bar & patio which have amazing views) when one of the sea view rooms remained vacant for all of the three nights I stayed. Wouldn't have cost them anything to upgrade me. I must add that this is a widespread practice within the hotel industry and not particular to this hotel.
Beautiful, stylish rooms with attention to detail. excellent breakfast. fantastic views
Meals a little expensive
Comfortable room - staff extremely helpful.
Friendly staff, great views over the bay from room and very good breakfasts.
Needed a car to reach shops and attractions, and if wanting to eat elsewhere.
Location - nothing around nearby.
Fantastic stay cannot be faulted
Prices of evening meals a little bit high.
The pleasant. Staff and nice location . Excellent food and good outside area. Would stay again .
The room number 4was good but the wardrobe had a bit of a strange odour would have asked to be moved but only stopped one night .
Breakfasts were freshly cooked and plentiful.
Abrupt attitude of Bar Manager. no flexibility on using Meal Voucher. location of Hotel is approx 5 mile outside Conwy and not clear on web-site. very small room that was advertised as " Superior Double " overall, not worth £85 per night !!
Very pleasant stay, food great.Continental breakfast ready for our early departure was a nice touch
Nice view, lovely cooked breakfast- well prepared
Tea very weak at breakfast
View from the window, atmosphere of the pub was excellent. But best thing was that Gladstone kindly contacted us that there will be music festival held during our stay and may become noisy, risking possible cancellation. We had a baby so it was valuable information and were able to change our date.
Place is 10 minute drive from Conwy, so need to be traveling by car to enjoy the peace and quiet environment.
location, view of the sea
didn't appreciate being asked for full payment while having a 10 pm drink. Also, no member of staff showed up for about 15 mins. at breakfast. The breakfast wasn't quite what was ordered, and the tea was undrinkable
Having the pub downstairs with great food was handy as we didn't have to drive anywhere for dinner.
Something we find all over the UK is that there is a thick quilt ('duvet') with no separate sheet. As the room was always warm we were usually either too hot (quilt on) or a bit too cold (quilt off) at night.
