4 poster room with a view. Friendly staff and good food.

Loved the position and views. Attractive, comfortable room. The pictures of Gladstone and Gladstone bags were a lovely quirky touch. The staff couldn't have been more helpful.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a sea view room which was lovely. Parking was easy and the hotel was well situated.

There was loud music from the Bar on both nights. The radio was also very loud during breakfast although on the second morning I turned it down. For essentially a pub, £100 a night was expensive.

I liked the fact that is basically a relaxing, friendly up-market pub with good food and a handful of surprisingly luxurious bedrooms. The staff were young and very friendly, ensuring a relaxed welcome. Great sea views and, amazingly, not a sound from the busy A55 below.

Could have done with a full-length mirror in the bedroom - surprising omission considering everything else so good. We also thought the wardrobe couldn't be used as it had a strange unpleasant smell inside - possibly because so new? - so we hand to hand things us on the outside! Also, the room above has either a very creaky bed or floorboards - a lot of noise all night but it was very windy!

The hotel staff were extremly helpful, and the room was very good value for money

We liked having fresh milk available for our tea and coffee in the room

Light sensors in the hallway outside our room (6) were on the fritz....blinking

Staff was friendly and the room was ok

The price is too high for the quality offered. The food, dinner was ok, but nothing special. Breakfast was quite bad, I was on a diet and they did not have skimmed milk, or sweeteners and the smoked salmon was so bad that I could not eat it.

Excellent and friendly service from both ladies at reception and serving our meal. Nice food and tasty beer. Good breakfast and good views

Road noise. The luxury front facing sea view room was comfy and the en suite was a good size but the A55 noise was not good. We are used to quiet. Also (and this is a personal preference!) the bed frame (foot board) got in the way of a good stretch out.

Lovely views, excellent staff, nice atmosphere. fresh milk in fridge on landing, good breakfast.

Would like better quality duvet and pillows, quite stiff and hard.

Staff were great - very accommodating. Very comfortable room.

It is out of the town a bit which was fine for us as we had a car and it was a relief to have easy parking.

Had all the nice little touches in your bedroom, staff very helpful and we thought good value.

Modern well decorated room,as was the whole hotel. Friendly staff, good food.Ample parking, good location for exploring north wales.

Shower temperature very difficult to control.

5 star treatment, friendly helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble .The rooms are beautifully furnished and clean and our meals were great..Adele and the team made our weekend. We will be going back thats for sure.

there isnt one thing i could fault about the gladstone..its a wonderful chilled out place ..we were there for 3 night's and was so chilled out it seemed like 3 weeks,Lance has a happy team of staff that made our stay so relaxing..

Handy for the ferry at Holyhead

The room had an odd smell - room 4 - same smell as last year!

excellent location, friendly staff, comfortable and modern room overlooking the sea, food very good.

Its was very good all rouns - staff, food & the real Ale. Will go again
