    Didn't get my request for a balcony Air con incredibly loud when in operation and came on with a real "clunk" - poor maintenance. Its looking a bit tired for a premium price point.

    Position, beautiful building, decoration and layout, roof gardens, views from roof garden / balcony, great rooms, good staff.

    Slightly more corporate feel now it's Marriott as opposed to privately owned, less 'quirky' than it used to be.

    The hotel was amzing and so different to where I have stayed before. Staff were very good and loved the comfortable honesty lounge area which was very politely staffed by nice young waiters.

    Lovely room with direct access to roof garden. Central location. Very friendly and helpful staff.

    Bar area a bit dark but would be very cosy in the winter!

    The place was well presented and the rooms were clean and well equipped. Very comfy bed.

    I felt it wasn't quite worth what I payed for it. It was lovely but just wasn't quite special enough for me to spend that amount again

    Room Very Pleasant and Breakfast was good.

    A very unpleasant and stressful experience and not worth the hassle! With great expectation we arrived outside the hotel at a small, totally inadequate 'Taxi' rank where we were forced to double park in a busy bus lane while we went to reception to enquire about parking. We were advised that it was a simple matter of going up the road, turning left and left again into the multi storey car park. Asked if there was anyone to help us with our bags we were told unfortunately, no. So, to the continued aggravation of queuing traffic we unloaded the car and then returned to park. Carefully following the instructions - arrived at underground car park with much relief only to be confronted by a closed barrier with no apparent means of entry. Backed out and continued down road to another underground car park which also had a barrier and was ' Private' ! No signs for Hotel parking - Nothing!! Continued to bottom of road which was a dead end ! Turned round and back up to main road which of course was one way only which forced me away from the Hotel and into the busy City traffic and a great deal of confusion - particularly aggravated by the new Tramway. I eventually found my way back to the Hotel after some 15 or so minutes only to have to repeat the original trauma of parking outside.I am now angry. Returned to reception and insisted to be accompanied to the car park.After a further 10 minute wait a young man appeared and came with me. When we eventually got back to reception we then had the challenge of finding our own way to our bedroom ! On a positive note - the room was very pleasant. Breakfast the following morning was another challenge. There were no directions or signs to the dining room AT ALL. And not a sign of any staff to ask.When, however we did eventually find the dining room after a long walk, the breakfast, I have to say, was extremely good. There can be little doubt about the money spent on this Hotel.

    They upgraded our room to a suite and the view was awesome! The suite was nice and modern. Overall, nice hotel.

    Breakfast was not included and was quite pricy.

    Location

    Hard to find the parking garage - not marked. Also very inconvenient to go from garage to hotel - very far. Rooms were on end with no elevator - needed to haul bags up a flight of stairs. One young man was very helpful - the rest of the staff were NOT.

    Roof terrace is beautiful. Bed was remarkably comfortable Balcony room was great Management willing to make amends for disgruntled patrons including free meal, wine and a discount on the stay. TV and Media facilities in room were great.

    Zero atmosphere... like walking into a library.. quite uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Restaurant is severely overpriced. There were several flaws with the room including leaky shower, train style suction toilet and non-working extractor fan, lack of privacy on terrace view rooms, faulty keycards. Romance package = 6 strawberries and an unbranded bottle of plonk in a bucket (£70.00 extra per night). Bit of a dodgy area of town. Staff seem broken or soul-less and tend to need to delegate or refer to someone else for any given query you may have.

    Room was nice and location

    Air con was broken temp would not go under 25 degrees Told hotel and the supplied us with a table fan they said the air con won't work because the hotel was full

    The hotel was fabulous, the staff were very polite and very helpful, the room was modern but had a classic feel and the view from the balcony was fantastic. We couldn't fault it in any way will defiantly be back.
