The overall experience (included Holy the cat). The breakfast cooked to order was magnificent. The helpful new proprietors were great ! When leaving I made another reservation for the next stay.
Lovely place. Lovely owner. Very helpful. Slept like a log.
Only issue was signage on property made it tad tricky to find on road.
Superb quality guest house recently taken over by Paula and Simon who really know how to look after people. Accommodation is spotless. Great size breakfast room and superb breakfasts. Ideally situated to tour the area or just a 5 min walk into Glastonbury, Abbey and Tor. Good luck to Paula and Simon and keep up the good work.
No big deal but the accommodation could do with a larger sign at the front that can be seen from both directions.
Everything about our stay!!!
Food was wonderful and location to the town. Beautiful Xmas decorations. Comfortable bed.
New owners happy to receive either compliments or suggestions for small improvements. Small touches great - fresh milk in room, lots of flowers, welcoming cat. Smoking in the back garden allowed. overall extremely welcoming.
On main road - didn't bother us, but some people might not like it
Simon and Paula provided us with a lovely place to stay for our weekend in Glastonbury. It was my partner's birthday and they even bought her some chocolates! They couldn't have been more welcoming and the room was great. Would definitely use again. The bed was especially comfortable!!
A hook on the back of the door would have been handy for hanging coats - but that's a very minor thing.
Host Greg, was lovely, couldnt ask for better. Great breakfast Very clean comfortable room if i return to glastonbury, I will book again
The location was a short stroll from the centre of town. Our host was friendly and made us very welcome. The room was well equipped and comfortable and the house has interesting furniture and artwork. We would stay again.
Friendly people. Selection of breakfast
Beds were not great. Expensive for standard
The townhouse is a 5-minute stroll to Glastonbury town centre. Close enough to take advantage of the town and far enough away to be peaceful. An extremely well-run establishment.
Given a warm welcome by Greg the owner, made to feel very special. Nothing too much trouble. Fab breakfast, cooked to order. Felt very "at home" and relaxed which was great on a business trip. Easy access in Glastonbury.
There wasn't anything I didn't like.
Breakfast was great! Greg, the owner is very friendly and helpful. Lovely, modern bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Convenient to town. Perfect experience!
Nothing to dislike
The host, the freedom and the food. Great place.
Location was super, just a 5-10 minute walk to the town centre and all its attractions. The Townhouse was traditional and practical, our room & ensuite was basic but adequate. The one major plus about this place is the owner, Greg. He was truly amazing, friendly, helpful, looking after us and treated us like long lost family. Off street parking ok.
Signage poor and internal stairs were steep which may be a problem for senior or disabled guests.
Breakfast like in ***** hotel, quiet, everything was perfect, thank You Greg
location, service, cleanliness breakfast, off road parking
road noise for us was an issue but that is not something the proprietor can control, we live in the countryside and so being in town is something we have to accept when we go away.
Cannot fault anything with the guesthouse or the host, Greg was warm and welcoming and breakfast fantastic!
Nothing to dislike
Greg is the best host ever, friendly, welcoming and charming. Thanks Greg, made are stay even better.
Nothing. Everything was excellent.
Everything especially the room, decor, breakfast and the service
Great hospitality, lovely room and good conversation!
Greg made us most welcome. Breakfast was cooked to perfection. Nothing would be too much trouble. Would definitely stay again if in the area. No hesitation in recommending to others.
No negatives at all.
Greg was very friendly and welcoming, with fantastic attention to detail. He didn't hesitate to go out of his way for his guests. The room was lovely. Breakfast was a feast. It is literally just a few minutes walk right into the centre of Glastonbury. It was a pleasure staying there, and I highly recommend it.
It is on a main road, so there is a little bit of traffic noise at peak times, but that shouldn't concern anyone except particularly light sleepers.
Greg was a fantastic host. Lovely breakfasts, nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely stay and an excellent weekend in Glastonbury.
