Would not stay in these windowless flats again. Had I known about no windows and freezing hallway and sofa you slip off and lack of lamps in lounge, then I would not have booked. Very disappointed.
I like the apartments as they are modern. It's 2 minutes from city centre
The apartment was cold. The bathroom was very old and had cobwebs. The shower was tiny and couldn't move inside.
Location was great feeling of being at home
Traveling with older children the bunk beds were slightly small having to use pull out bed for our 17 year old second night
The bed was very comfortable. Location was very good.
Before we booked I didn't notice this at all but when I tried to use the Wi-Fi, it said that Wi-Fi was only free for 30 minutes and after that, you needed to pay around £3 per 24 hours. I checked this with the receptionist who said it was clearly stated on booking.com but I checked later and it said Wi-Fi was free. I spoke to the receptionist again, much to her annoyance, and she gave me a separate access code because "she didn't want to argue about it". She didn't admit that their description was misleading. The internet was also very slow. Overall, the place needs a bit of work done. The tiles on the bathroom floor were cracked in several places. Plumbing was dodgy. When you get there, expect to find lots of small print about extra fees. This is not a place that's trying to gain repeat customers.
Rooms & bathrooms were excellent!
Living area was tiny as was kitchen area also very close to road so awake most of the night with cars passing.x
Overall location in Inverness is good and hotel facilities are fine.
Old building showing its age and in need of renovation/upgrading. Streetside position and access via carpark both less than ideal.
Excellent location, nestled on the Loch Ness River. Within 200 yards of the city centre and within 100 yards of Inverness Castle. Apartments were spacious with everything needed for our stay.
We stayed in an apartment with an 18 month old, the apartment was split over 2 levels. Unfortunately there was no living room door, so my 18 month could access the stair case to the upper landing. I felt this was not safe for a small child. Also the hotel advertises free wifi, this is only for 30 minutes then you are charged to continue to use this.
lovely location and very spacious apartment which was well furnished with comfortable ,clean beds.
Issues with heating and hot water on arrival and although staff very helpful to try and sort out a recurrent problem the following day and was a downside to the stay. Again although apartment lovely, had booked a hotel room for parents at the same time for their anniversary and apparently the corner of their window was cracked and caused some draft.
its very central to the city centre, only walking distance, great place for family breaks, nice and peaceful and very comfortable, will definitely go back, well recommended.
The size of the apartment was good. The beds were comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size and we liked the styling of them. The kitchen was good. The bar Nico's was comfortable and relaxing. It was a good place for friends to get together and well positioned for a short walk to Eden Court theatre.
There was too much to make this a great place to stay I'm afraid! The position of our apartment 5 was on the road at the back of the hotel outside of the car park area. A bit awkward in bad weather. Could have benefited from a stepped pedestrian exit/entrance rather than having to go through the barriers. The front door to the apartment has seen better days. There were splits in the wood and a makeshift repair which made it look like it had been broken in to!! The door was so ill fitting that the traffic noise in the hall made you think the door was open! The first impression inside the apartment is "oh dear". It looked so dingy! The carpet was really dirty looking. The paintwork was in dire need of a freshen up. The carpet at the bedroom threshold was threadbare and torn. The ensuite downstairs was "quirky", we like a bit of quirky but it wasn't in good decorative order. The shower was great but leaked like a sieve and soaked most of the bathroom floor. The bedroom door closer didn't work. The dressing room upstairs didn't have a bulb so we moved a lamp upstairs, it was still too dark to use. We popped back in a spotlight in the main bathroom that was hanging out of the ceiling. I know we shouldn't do this but we wanted to impress our guests as we booked this place! The third couple to arrive wasn't met with a friendly response at reception. We were pretty disappointed in the Glen Mohr standard. Very very nearly about turned at the front door to reception to ask for our money back but didn't want to ruin what was to be a great night out in Inverness. Really feel that we paid too much this time and that the pictures on the site don't reflect the apartment we had. Shame! This place with a lot of work could be fab!
Size and fascilities, friendly staff, location
Location, facilities and value for money.
No remote for the television. Apartment slept 8 yet only 4 wine glasses etc
bistro had excellent food free parking spotless
nothing to mention
Lovely apartment, very clean lots of space.
Quite noisy with traffic passing.
Great location for walking along river and canal and also a few minutes walk into town. Lots of choice to eat out with independents as well as the usual restaurant chains. Roomy apartment but some furniture a bit tired, generally very comfortable.
Very dated bathroom with poor shower
I liked that it was clean and in a great location and staf were polite and so helpful
I don't not like that when we arrived the front door was broken and when we asked fir it to be fixed they said it had been liked that for some time. They did do a quick fix for us also the breakfast were to expensive at £14 for what you got
Thw central location and the proximity to the restaurant.
Excellent value for money Location Modern furnishings and fittings Staff responsive to problems
1)Persistent ticking from central heating pipes. The noise distracts in during waking hours and disturbs sleep in early morning. A pity because it is so unacceptable it means I can't recommend what is otherwise a great find in Inverness 2) 11 light bulbs were already blown when we took up apartment. Apparently they knew about 8 of them but did not say what they were doing about it until we raised the issue 3) 2 of the 6 dining chairs were so dangerously rickety I asked for them to be removed. 3) Door to en-suite would not lock. Quite a problem when there is no other wc or shower in a 2 bedroom apartment. 4) This place lets itself down by not checking what needs attention before the customer finds it.
Staff were really friendly and helpful. The location is excellent . The towels and linen were very well laundered and good quality. The accommodation was modern and looked good.
So uncomfortable the beds were tiny, very narrow and poor quality. Six of us stayed all all slept badly - 2 fell out do bed !! Even the sofa was cheap and nasty and uncomfortable to sit on.
Location, very central, very clean. Restaurant food excellent
Sofa bed very uncomfortable, mattress paper thin Stairs not suitable if got young toddlers as very steep
Plenty of space & good facilities, excellent value for money. Close to shops, restaurants & take-away. Staff very friendly & helpful. Bedding & towels were lovely & fresh.
Lack of outside lighting was difficult coming back late.
Location was excellent and was ideal for a few days away with our Grandaughter. Enjoyed our stay.
Road outside was a bit noisy and carpets could do with a clean.
Bedroom was quite nice
Heating didn't work, beds a tad narrow, living room window right on the street
Location perfect, right next to centre of inverness, resturaunts and bars
Customer service could have been better and price for selfcatering! 15 pounds extra for breakfast not good
