John and Debbie would like to welcome you to The Glendeveor, a few minutes walk from the beaches, shops and facilities of Newquay. The Glendeveor is family-run and is large enough to cater for parties, yet small enough to make sure you receive the service you want and expect. Accommodation includes rooms with sea views. Our dedicated chef, who has been with the hotel for over 10 years, delights in creating wholesome, home cooked meals. There is a well stocked bar with experienced staff. Locatie is zeer goed, parkeermogelijkheden zeer goed, zeer aardige bediening Hotel komt wat gedateerd over, zoals bijv. de activiteiten in de avonden in de bar. Echter wel netjes.

We were looking for a hotel with a central location within the town.This hotel was ideal, with the bonus of a sea view from the front and bar area. A stroll 250 mtrs down hill to the main street. Car remained in the hotel car park except for a day trip elsewhere. The hotel staff were very friendly, welcoming, and professional. Special mention of thanks to the owner John manager Alan and all the unseen staff . Our room was comfortable, quiet and clean. The hotel provided a selection of options for breakfast which would cater for most requirements. Would we stay there again? Yes we will.

This hotel is a 2 minute walk into town and 5 minutes to the beach. The staff were all very friendly and went out of there way to help in any way they could. Nothing was to much trouble.

Value for money, friendly and approachable staff and the hotels location. The beds and pillows could do with being updated. Our room faced the main road which was quite noisy during the night.

Staff were very friendly, considerate, helpfull and obliging and the cost of the room was reasonable. Breakfast was served swiftly and the size was sufficient with a good selection (in spite of some guests saying it was too small???). We did not have evening meals. The hotel is fairly close to the town and beach (but bit of a climb if one is not too able). None really other than the bed was a bit uncomfortable but bearable.

Friendly staff,well situated,clean,off road parking and the use of your own key. Breakfast although of good quality was rather meagre in portion size for someone with a more generous appetite.

staff were very friendly and informative. clean hotel. the kettle did not work in our room. Also we needed a fridge in our room. when asked to wash my baby bottles i was told to wash them in the sink in the bathroom. i never wash my babys bottles in the bathroom so why should i here.

The location was great. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. Loved the 24hour bar. Amazing sea views. Would be good if the hotel had a lift. After walking up hills etc the stairs seemed to get harder. Hotel could be aired more often as it seemed stuffy at times. Maybe re-decorating rooms in the near future.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with everything. Went for a few nights break as a couple and was a lovely hotel for just this. Cant fault it in anyway

The location is convenient and parking very useful. The way breakfast is handled is farcical. If u have a young family u are expected to wait until 8.45am for breakfast so if you're kids get up at 6.30am it's a long time until breakfast.and then you only have 30mins to eat it! Whilst if youre a pensioner you get yours nice and early. Who ever heard of two sittings for breakfast? Most hotels do an open house 7am to 9am. I think it's forgotten that guests are on holiday and may have plans and that they're paying for breakfast, which frankly is mediocre.

Excellent location, short walk to restaurants, bars and clubs and 2 mins from shop. Friendly service, easy going, no problems with coming in late or leaving your car in car park after check-out.

the staff were extremely friendly and the food was excellent. It was near to bus station railway station beach and shops without being too noisy. breakfast was too late could be half an hour earlier at least.
