Nice place to stay and very close by to sea beach. Staffs are friendly and overall I can say its value for money.

Room are bit small to move around. Said Free wifi but doesn't get connected from room.

Location was great rooms were fine bathrooms were clean grounds were clean off-street parking cheaper than others Morning staff nice and understanding

Evening staff disrespectful evening staff seemed to be "drunk" or on something as their words were not making sense. Seemed to be annoyed at us before we even checked in loud when partyers come in

The meal was very nice , but the bedroom was very poky hardly any room to move around the bed, the matress was very uncomfortable prickly on my legs I had to srip the sheets of and place a blanket over the matress then put the sheets back to get comfortable, what they need to buy is good quality matress protectors the thick type this gives the bed more comfort it would have been okey for Back Packers but I wouldnt go there again.

The car park at the rear of the Hotel very good for customers.

Staff were friendly and helpful. For us the location meant we could leave our car at the hotel and walk to where we wanted to go in Newquay as on street parking in the town is difficult to non-existant.

It appears to be a budget coach tour hotel and the only other guests were a coach load of elderly people - which meant all the focus was on them. The hotel appears to be very cost conscious and this was reflected in the quality of the breakfast cereals and the cooked breakfast itself - one of this or that seems to be the norm. The uphill walk from the centre of town can be a struggle for the less fit!

friendly staff always present when you need any help. The lounge is a good place for relax; it is big enough to have a quiet time if you wish to do some reading and you can also enjoy a group chat. The billiard is a full set of tea only charges you 80p. What a bargan!!

The staff were really friendly and always wanted to help wherever they could. I would definitely stay there again. It is the ideal location if you want to be near the town/bars/clubs and also Fistral Beach.

It seems as though they cater mainly for the older generation although it is still ok if you are young and just need a weekend away.

Our room was not clean, the hotel needs refurbishing, damp musty smell on the ground floor. We were not impressed with the hotel.

we have been to the glendevour most years for the last 9 yearsand like the fact they have parking, they are near enough to newquay town but far enough away from the loud parts, lovely people, and a good hotel, always a pleasure to stay there

The hotel was basic but clean and of an acceptable standard. We had exceptional care and consideration of our needs. The booking was last minute and we certainly appreciated all efforts made to welcome us by all staff that we encountered.

Lots of stags!! A bit intimidating for our young girls

I traveled with 4 other freinds for a birthday weekend and was not dissapointed. The hotel staff were very friendly, the location of the hotel was excellent 1 min from the high street and few minuets to all the pubs and clubs. For a day and night in Newquay it was perfect hotel to stay in, and very cheap compared to most.

Very friendly staff, great location and good rooms. Breakfasts were more than expected with a good choice of cereals and hot meals. Great view from the bar area as well.

Didn't get a chance to try dinner in the restaurant as it was closed in the only evening we had which was a bit annoying - that was a selling point for booking the hotel in the first place as had elderly relatives with me who couldn't walk far to find another restaurant.

The staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough to make our stay 100% enjoyable. Great hosts.

Although very dated decor-wise it is very comfortable. For the money we got a large double room, and a small view of the ocean. The staff are very helpful, and the location (for the money) is nice and central. A 2 minute walk into the main street of Newquay.

The rooms are fairly dated. I.e clean, but old wallpaper, carpet, furniture. We stayed one night, and it was not really an issue.

It is a very friendly hote,l good food and entertainment, very close to shops, places to eat and drink and beaches and we will stay there every time we goto newquay in the future.
