Corbridge is a lovely village with some really nice shops and restaurants. We ate at the Black bull one evening, which was really nice. We also had a take out from the local Indian restaurant, the food was really good. There's lots of beats to fish on the river Tyne, Ghillies are very helpful and friendly. Book before you go though. Would recommend the Exit Newcastle, if you like escape room experiences. The young guys that run it are lovely, it was a really fun experience and they have several rooms to choose from. The roads are nice to drive and well sign posted. Only place we would avoid is Newcastle city on a Saturday afternoon, only because it was so busy.

Corbridge is a typical Northumberland village with local shops, Greengrocer, Butcher & Bakery all of the highest standard. Riverside Walks & close proximity to Roman Wall & historical buildings. Excellent Pub, great food. Lots of interesting walks. Not too far from Hexham market town & Newcastle upon Tyne & Metro Centre for shopping. The Angel Inn is ideal for local brews and fish & chips.

Corbridge is a beautiful upmarket town - always worth going out of your way to visit. Plenty of lovely independent eateries and shops - highly recommend RE with its eclectic mix of homewares (located behind a garage alongside two antique shops). Also Coffuffle, a tiny place with a lovely owner serving exceptional coffee and the best homemade truffles - worth stopping in Corbridge just for a box of truffles.

Very familiar with Corbridge. Nice shops, pubs and tea rooms. Always get accomodation with parking as parking in the village limited. Food at Black Bull exceptional, good Fish and Chip Van on friday night o\s The Angel. Visit the old Priest Tower for a drink (go upstairs or sit outside in summer) Tyne Valley Line runs to Newcastle or Carlisle. Good bus links. Roman Wall Country nearby.
