I have been happy to return Friendly atmosphere and excellent food
The rooms had just been updated and were very comfortable.
I thought the evening menu was slightly over priced.
Staff , beer , food .
Never stayed in such a abismal room . Frosted window in bedroom , clear room in pathetic en suite . Rip off . Staff and food fantastic . Room horrible . Got drunk purposely so I could sleep .

Sunday Roast was excellent

excellent staff, outstanding food, location perfect, rooms every good value for money.
Great location for the golf and brilliant weather
Good choice of food which was good. Rooms very good and spacious.
Good location very quiet town. Our room had a good view of the green and the Solway was in the distance. There are no parking restrictions in any part of the town. The hotel was very nice and the staff very friendly. I would have no hesitation in recommending it for business or leisure stays.
entrance throughout dated not too clean doorway entrance dirty rubbish lying
The comfort of the room. Breakfast menu and quality of food. Location in Silloth. Good value for money regarding cost of room.

Quality of rooms
Great location, lovely food, friendly staff and good value for money!
Rooms were clean and comfortable with the exception of heating issue.
My friend and I had single rooms on the second floor for one night. There was no heating in either the rooms or corridor but this only became apparent late that night. We reported this issue to the receptionist the following morning and were told that the automatic timer had been set for the heating. After some discussion, the rather surly woman eventually agreed to speak to the manager and she returned to advise that we would each have £10 deducted from our respective bills - the manager did not appear to deal personally with our complaint. We have both stayed at this hotel on previous occasions, but the poor handling of this incident by the staff means that we will not be returning to the Golf Hotel.
Food very good. Room clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and efficient.
Staff making a great effort Food was above average
room opened onto kitchen exhaust fan
Room was really nice. Staff great.
Outside needs a coat of paint
Friendly Staff Excellent Accommodation
Great room. Dog friendly Fabulous welcome. Nice menu with a good range of food at good value prices. Staff couldn't do enough to make you feel at home. Enjoyed myself so much stayed extra night.
The Hotel was ok. Not what I expected.
Required more staff during the day to coupe with the arrivals. Only one thing which would make things look better change the colour of your bath suites dark green is not a good look.
Location, room size and cleanliness. Staff very friendly and helpful. A good place and value for money.
Could do with starting breakfast at 7 in the morning on Sunday as we had to leave without ours although we were offered cereals etc.
Good traditional hotel and staff to match - loved it
Outside appearance was pretty bad but it is on sea front and exposed
