Good location and friendly staff

Small rooms and quality of the mattress could be improved. For the price paid for the Goring you should at least get a good mattress so one can get a good night sleep and not wake up with back pain. I know London is expensive but I found the value at the Goring not that good.

Impeccable service, You felt respected This was the best hotel and hotel experience I have ever had. We will always go to the Goring in the future when we stay in London. We did not have enough time for the afternoon tea, but we saw them and they looked truly epic, a fantastic way to spend a cold January afternoon.

It was the ultimate in professional customer service by all members of staff which made our stay something very special and memorable. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom were very comfortable whilst the decor and furnishing were of the highest quality and elegance. It was without doubt the best hotel we have used for accommodation during the last 45 years.

Staff, location, luxury

The staff were second to none.The service was simply amazing.The staff were very friendly but in no way intimidating, they were totally lovely.Our room qwas lovely too, just a little tired in the decorating & finishing department, however I would not let it put me off another visit.The chef made a beautiful birthday cake for my wife, it was delicious.

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed very pleasantly and reception wonderful. The rooms very well appointed and we were fortunate to be upgraded to a junior suite. The hotel is clean and has excellent service levels.

Nothing at all this is an excellent hotel. I do think breakfast ought to be included in the room rate as 30 Pounds is a bit much.

We enjoyed the 'Country House' feel of the place in the centre of London. Not at all fussy, staff very obliging.

Have been staying at the Goring for over 20 years. Plain & simple, it's the nicest hotel I've ever stayed. (I've been on the road on average a week a month for the past 30 plus years) My hands down favorite hotel.

Slow in delivering messages sometimes

Non c'è il frigorifero in camera

De bar en ze hebben een tuin, wat toch wel een uitzondering is in Londen. Verder ligt om de hoek een metrostation.

Kleine badkamer met weinig opbergruimte voor toiletspullen en geen haken voor het ophangen van bijv. de badjas en handdoeken. Het bad is erg hoog om in te stappen, wat zeker voor oudere mensen een probleem kan zijn. Wifi was ook wenselijk geweest.

Wir hatten ein klassisches englisches Hotel gesucht und im Goring gefunden.

An einem Tag wurde abends das Zimmer nicht für die Nacht gerichtet. Die unmittelbare Umgebung ist nicht wirklich einladend. Nur Richtung Belgrave Square und Kaufhaus Harrods mag man zu Fuss gehen. Eine böse Überraschung war, dass zum Hotelpreis noch 20 Prozent Mehrwertsteuer kamen. Das Zimmer war hübsch, aber wohl kleiner als angegeben.

I have stayed at the Goring many times. I was quite disappointed this time and will probably not stay again. The staff and the food were as usual excellent but the room did not seem extra larlge to me and the small window let in a terrible draught that made it so I had to put my coat on and we had to have the blinds drawn to try to curb it. Also why no tea and coffee facilities that is disgraceful in a room that expensive and the bed it was so hard they could have used it for torture. All in all not a good stay such a pity as the staff are excellent
