Hotel information

For almost a century, 4 generations of the Goring family have run The Goring, which could not be better placed. Completed in 1910, The Goring is the oldest, privately-owned luxury hotel in London, where luxury and elegance are evident throughout.

The rich, dark bar leads to a light, airy terrace and finally into a grand, comfortable lounge. A veranda has been added to the back of the terrace. This open space seats 24 people, where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner overlooking the famous Goring Gardens.

As part of your accommodation, you will be able to enjoy complimentary membership at Victoria’s LA Fitness Club, just a 3 minute walk away. Here you will have access to a swimming pool, sauna, and state-of-the-art gymnasium. Massage treatments and fitness classes may also be booked directly with the club.

Four rooms are available for meetings and other private functions. There is 24-hour complimentary internet access in the IT room.

Food & beverage

In the restaurant, a winner at the Tio Pepe ITV London Restaurant Awards, an experienced chef prepares food of the highest quality. In the evenings, the Swarovski chandeliers are lowered for a more intimate atmosphere. Three interconnecting rooms provide different environments for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and evening suppers.

Every spacious room at The Goring is unique, sumptuously decorated and furnished, and laden with delightful, considerate touches. Many rooms overlook the garden and some even have their own private terrace.

English opulence is apparent throughout, with up-to-the-minute facilities, including a wide choice of films, and complimentary music on demand. Non-smoking rooms are available and all rooms have individually controlled air conditioning.

The glamour of Knightsbridge and Sloane Street; the bustle of Piccadilly and Theatreland; the shopping and art-steeped milieus of Bond Street and Jermyn Street are all close by.
