The food was very good and service in the bar excellent. The barman couldn't do enough for us. The electricity went off twice in one day and the room was noisy. Walls very thin could hear person in next room late at night and early in morning using bathroom and moving around. Would only recommend this hotel to golfers. |

We thought the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar meals were very reasonable and good quality. The breakfast was great also. Overall we were made very welcome and nothing seemed too much trouble. The rooms although very clean and well equipped were starting to look tired and in need of redecoration. The room were we had breakfast was also in need of bringing a little more up to date. |

Hotel in elevated position with good views over the estuary. Clean room with exceptable bed, shower and basic facilities. Good quality buffet breakfast. Good value for money evening meals also available. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Our ground floor room as adjacent to shed/storage area, so no view from the window - other rooms may have better view. Some minor repairs required eg loo seat broken, bulbs missing. |

Fine position, friendly staff, pleasant room, very quiet. No headboard on my bed. Quality of mattress only just acceptable, very thin....Noise from blocked gutter outside window overflowing all night kept us awake. Lighting level in the room insufficent for comfortable reading either in bed or at dressing table. Shower tap difficult to master- had cold shower.. |

I liked the relaxed atmosphere, the peaceful location and lovely views. I wished I was a golfer to take advantage of the free round of golf after 6pm! I felt the maintenance of certain areas needed attention and it would be helpful for guests to have a proper reception area rather than having to search for a member of staff in the bar.. |

Fantastic scenic views in peaceful surroundings; very handy position for visiting beaches, the countryside and the city; very comfortable rooms with good facilities; first class chef providing an excellent breakfast and a great choice of other food at reasonable prices; very friendly, helpful staff. No dislikes. |

The friendliness of the staff, who were very welcoming. They went out of their way to be helpful(offering anytime breakfast, meals to suit) It was very peaceful, and even the evenings when a function ws going on it didn't disturb you. The veiws are beautiful. The weather was so good when we were there it would have been very nice to have had some loungers in the sun. |

Being able to play 9 holes of golf after work. I mislaid my memory stick in the room and had to leave without it. The staff found the memory stick and posted it to me, thanks. On arrival you are directed to the reception but there isn't one, you have to go into the bar ask for so for someone to book you in which isthe middle of the corridor at the top of the stairs - not ideal. |

Very friendly staff, good breakfast. The room allocated to us had several things wrong/faulty, however after we reported same they did try to put things right. Dissapointed that the restaraunt was closed, only bar meals available |

Peacful setting , easier to find than I thought. Friendly staff who were very helpful when asked questions. Puddle of water on bathroom floor when i arrived. Television too high on the wall , made viewing very uncomfortable . Poor room lighting , needs a lamp above the bed to make reading easier. Need bigger TV. |

I had stayed at the hotel to attend a wedding which I thought could have been planned better as there was a lot of waiting around for the room to be sorted for each event of the day however the service we got as guest was very good. I wanted to buy a pot of tea from the bar and was not allowed as all machines had been turned off this I thought was odd as there were plenty of wedding guest that wanted the same. |

Great location, helpful staff and great value for money. Especially if your a Golfer Due to an oversight the heating in my room had not been on for sometime, which meant for a very chilly night as the room just did not get warm. Other than this, its a great hotel in a great location |

It was exactly what I wanted, the staff were friendly and the service very good. I found it was value for money and the location was very nice even if it was a little remote if you did not have transport for the evenings. |
