Sehr großes, komfortables Zimmer, sehr gute Dusche, tolle Lage, würde jederzeit wieder dort buchen. Die Mehrwertsteuer (VAT) wurde verrechnet, obwohl sie über booking.com bereits inkludiert war. Erst nach Vorzeigen der Buchungsbestätigung (in engl. Sprache!) wurde die VAT wieder abgezogen! |

Die Zentrale Lage des Hotels ist super Der Service ist langsam. Die Zimmer waren um 15:30Uhr immer noch nicht gereinigt worden. Das Hotel sei momentan understaffed. Der Concierge wusste nicht, wo der Abstellraum für das Reisegepäck war. |

Die zentrale Lage direkt am Trafalgar Square war toll.Auf den Gängen gab es kostenlos Wasserspender.Das Frühstück war sehr gut und für 15Pfund okay. Hört sich simpel an,aber nervig war im Bad,das es keine WC-Bürste gibt. |

Wir wurden trotz reservierung über booking com in ein anderes Hotel verlegt!!Und am nächsten Tag war das Zimmer erst um 18.30h zu beziehen!!! Taxi und 35 Pfund wurden allerdings als entschädigung bezahlt.Ich war trotzdem irritiert,war mit Tochter unterwegs! Die Mitarbeiter suchten ständig nach ausreden, offensichtlich war das Hotel überbucht..Verstehe nicht wie soetwas passieren kann, denn dann brauch ich ja nicht online reservieren...??? Ist mir noch niee passiert bei booking com Reservierung. |

Clean, quiet room with great modern furnishings. Very comfortable. I felt quite safe as a woman traveling alone. The hotel itself was great, but the staff was a disaster. My check-in experience was so incompetent that it took longer than the late-night drive from Heathrow (really). Housekeeping did not regularly remove and replace used glasses and coffee mugs (sometimes they were removed but not replaced, other days replaced, etc.). Housekeeping took but did not replace soiled towels left on the floor after several days. When I finally ran out of all towels, I learned that the hotel had no clean towels available. They were finally delivered by a nice staff member, but at 11 pm. Let me reiterate: the hotel itself was great and the location was unbeatable. The staff was remarkably ineffective for the caliber of the hotel (and the price). |

We arrived at the hotel to find that the computer system had cancelled our booking, this wasnt a problem as there was a room available, only this room was not caterered for 3 people, 2 cups, glasses, tea, sugar etc, I told reception about this and they said someone would bring more cups, I also said that the third person had no sheets/bedding for the sofa bed, they said that when we went out if we tell reception we are going out they will send someone to the room to make the sofa bed up, when we arrived back at the hotel at about 12.30am this wasnt done, so I had to go back to reception to tell them this wasnt done and then wait for someone to bring bedding to the room, also there was problems with the keys, out of the three key cards we had only one of them worked. |

My room was clean and well appointed and all the staff I met were helpful friendly and efficient. Breakfast is in a most inhospitable bar (for first thing in the morning, anyway) and is extremely basic for the money charged |

The location was great for shopping and eating out in Covent Garden, also the theatres. The staff were very polite and efficient. Taxis are hard to come by directly outside the hotel and there was no concierge to flag one down - consequently, we had to drag our luggage back to The Strand to hail one! |

My daughter and I stayed for one night, and we were really pleased that everything we wanted was right on the doorstep, from the tube to the enbankment. Trafalgar square is five minutes walk away.The hotel felt very safe and secure with the room key used as a pass in the lifts. As we only stayed room only, we didn't have a look around. our time was only a short one. There was nothing to dislike. |

Fantastic location right--we walked everywhere, but buses, taxis, tube were all right outside the door. Comfortable room was excellent value for the price. Free WiFi and computer connections in the room were a plus. The Club Quarters features were great for business and/or independent travellers not looking for traditional concierge, bellhop, and valet services. We liked everything. |

We got a fantastic rate on booking.com. Great location. Easy walk to all the sights and shopping. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We did not see a ton of staff walking around, which I appreciated. It was easy to get someone if you needed. Loved the chilled water dispenser. Hotel was clean and the room was very comfortable. |

I enjoyed the Grand because it was a great location, nice and quiet and clean and pleasant staff. Only that I didnt notice you could get an extra pillow from end of corridor! And the lifts were a bit slow - sorry. |

Its location is perfect. It is in very city center, the most important things to visit are around the zone. Perfect to spend a few days visiting. Underground two minutes walking. Facilities good, more than expected for london. Everything is according to its web site (visit it as the rooms shown in its web are exactly the same as the one you will stay in) Just bear in mind that prices do not include VAT taxes, so final price is a bit higher. Pay attention also to breakfast prices. Make sure what you are paying. You can have as many coffee, toasts, croissant as you want just for 5pounds but if you just have one slice of ham or cheese or take just a piece of fruit the price goes up to 10pound and if you take even just one sausage 12 pound. |
