Worth it for the location alone! Five minutes walk away from Leicester Square, The Strand and obviously Trafalgar Sqaure right on the doorstep. I was concerned having read reviews about noise from outside but we had a room overlooking Northumberland Avenue and there was no problem. Room size was great and perfect for a city break. Nice to have a queen size bed rather than a double compared to other hotels we have stayed in. Would stay again primarily for the location. Couldn't really fault it as it was clean and had everything you needed, but the bathroom was a bit of a let down. Rather compact and the structure rattled everytime you shut the door. Wouldn't use the word luxury to describe this hotel though. The only other minor thing was having to swipe your room card to operate the lift.

Very fast check-in / check out, comfortable room. Perfect location. Good feel of the hotel overall. The Grand Hotel and Club Quarters Hotel at Trafalgar Square is one same hotel, a little difficult understand it.

As I like my cup of tea, it was nice that they have a supply cupboard on every floor where you could get tea bags, milk, coffee, ironing board, extra pillows...great. Couldn,t fault the location ..excellent ! We had a room with connecting doors, it was like the people next door were in the same room as us. You could hear every conversation.Something really should be done about that ! We could barely see the sky from our window, difficult to judge the weather, I did expect a little more of a view for the price we paid (just over £205 per night ! )

Location was great, staff good. Restaurant lovely. Very bland rooms, boring decor. Had to upgrade as was not happy with first room. Cigarette ends on Windowsil, yuk! When we upgraded to a fairly nice (dull decor) the window from the kitchen viewed a Fire Escape with Cigarette ends scattered everywhere. There is clearly a problem

Proximity to theatre and central London attractions. Sunday breakfast menu was not clear as to what was included. An attempt was made to have us pay a service charge when service was in fact "self service". Both problems were rectified satisfactorily.

Large, quiet rooms, very close to all the the West End of London has to offer. Ice and cold water on every floor. Small kitchenette. There was a lack of any kind of view from the window bit this helped make the room quiet.

Rooms were nice and quiet Big soft beds Good value for the price So much in London is a short walk away. the Tube is just around the corner as well. I'll definitely stay here next time I'm in the city. I booked 6 weeks in advance (and called the hotel desk to confirm) specifically requesting 2 rooms next to each other so I would be next to my younger travelling companions. So I was disappointed to find I was round 2 corners and up a flight of stairs. So not particularly family friendly. Also Breakfast could have been better and better value. 1 small slice of brown toast with scrambled egg, 1 ham cob and a bacon sandwich was £62. I'll eat at Garfunkel's just down the street next time - Full English for a tenner

I particularly liked the bathrooms, excellent shower and brilliant lighting. The staff are always pleasant and most welcoming. The location is perfect, ideal if you are a lover of art, as the National gallery is on your doorstep. I didn't like the heating system in the bedroom. On arrival the room was really warm, so tried to alter the setting- it made little difference ,so had to have the window open all night. With the constant humming of a fan....most annoying.

Fabulous hotel, with excellent location for all west end theatres and shopping. Small double booked which had plenty of room. We were located in 9th floor with fab views of Big Ben, London eye, and other London landmarks. Would definatly stay at this quality hotel again. The bar in the hotel seemed to close early, other hotels in the past have been served around the clock all the time guests are still in bar. Also went back to hotel on Sunday evening for a drink after eating out and it was closed!.
