The location was fabulous for theatre and ease to getting around London via underground or simply on foot. Near alot of tourist sites. Our room was in the front of the hotel so it was quite noisey from road and pedestrian traffic. Also vat was added onto our room which was suppose to be included in original price. This added an extra 100 pounds onto the cost. |

I stay regularly at this hotel for business. It is in a good central location for my meetings, for restaurants and transport links. There are not enough lifts in this hotel! During busy periods you may have to let 2 lifts go by before you can catch one. This time round we were allocated a room on 3rd floor so we could use the lifts at the other end which made access a lot quicker and less cramped. |

The reception staff were superb. I asked for a non-smoking room via booking.com, turned up to be advised that there were none available. I then asked to be given alternative hotel as I simply could not stay in a smoking room. After dicussions, a room became available see above. if asked to book a non-smoking room one expects such |

Excellant location. Room very comfortable and clean. Friendly efficient staff. Lack of towels - only one hand towel provided between two people. Bath towels were far too small. Tea & Coffee provided very minimal. Didn't have breakfast as too expensive. |

Location, location, location! Central to everything for a short city break. We also loved the automated checking in and out facilities. Buses outside the door, a tube station across the street and Trafalgar Square on your doorstep - what's not to like? |

At the weekend rate of £100 per night, it really did represent unbeatable value |

Good central location on the edge of Trafalgar Square. It was easy to check in and out and had everything that we needed. The bar closed at 10.30pm - not something that i would expect of a hotel of this standard. |

Rooms were clean; bathroom was really nice, and the shower was really nice and spacious. The purified bottled water station on each floor was especially useful. Staff was polite and very helpful. Location is perfect!! Room was a little smaller than I anticipated for two people. Also, i didn't like the closet that was in the corner; it was kinda difficult to get into, and just really took up valuable space. |

Location, cleanness There was a wall about 1.5 m from the window so absolutely no view, VAT added to the price even if the reservation stated that the price included VAT |

Excellent location and access to transport. Very good quality bed and quiet, comfortable room. We are not inclined to take breakfast but if we did then the separate cafe style facility appeared expensive and remote. |

Clean, quiet room with great modern furnishings. Very comfortable. I felt quite safe as a woman traveling alone. The hotel itself was great, but the staff was a disaster. My check-in experience was so incompetent that it took longer than the late-night drive from Heathrow (really). Housekeeping did not regularly remove and replace used glasses and coffee mugs (sometimes they were removed but not replaced, other days replaced, etc.). Housekeeping took but did not replace soiled towels left on the floor after several days. When I finally ran out of all towels, I learned that the hotel had no clean towels available. They were finally delivered by a nice staff member, but at 11 pm. Let me reiterate: the hotel itself was great and the location was unbeatable. The staff was remarkably ineffective for the caliber of the hotel (and the price). |

We arrived at the hotel to find that the computer system had cancelled our booking, this wasnt a problem as there was a room available, only this room was not caterered for 3 people, 2 cups, glasses, tea, sugar etc, I told reception about this and they said someone would bring more cups, I also said that the third person had no sheets/bedding for the sofa bed, they said that when we went out if we tell reception we are going out they will send someone to the room to make the sofa bed up, when we arrived back at the hotel at about 12.30am this wasnt done, so I had to go back to reception to tell them this wasnt done and then wait for someone to bring bedding to the room, also there was problems with the keys, out of the three key cards we had only one of them worked. |
