ligging! proper hotel, goede kamer en badkamer. geen gezellige gemeenschappelijke ruimte, weinig huiselijke sfeer. onze kamer gaf uit op een lichtkoker waardoor we zelfs niet konden zien of de zon scheen of niet. |

de netheid van de kamer en het algemeen komfort was heel goed. ook de aandacht voor de extra wensen was uitstekend. onduidelijke regeling m.b.t ontbij. Er bleek echter helemaal geen ontbijt in het hotel mogelijk te zijn tenzij na 11 uur a.m. ?! De hotelreceptie had de booking (via www) blijkbaar nog niet ontvangen en kwam als uit de lucht vallen bij mijn aankomst met lange wachttijd voor de kamer. |

The location of the hotel, the centre of London, West End. Very nice, renovated room, very quiet. It´s a pity that a reception area almost has gone. Electronic checking in an out, goes fast, but unpersonel. Unavoidable in modern times, to keep cost low. |

De ruime kamers, dicht bij het centrum Internet functioneerde niet, is weer hersteld. Stop doorgeslagen van bedlampen en TV was na ca half uur verholpen |

They had god broadband. No room service after 11pm, basically only one member of staff in the hotel after this. More like staying in a budget hotel - you have to collect even tea bags yourself. No mini-bar. Do not book with the hotel directly - they charge you top whack. |

friendy and welcoming staff.Early access to our room.Good bathroom facilities. Lack of food choices due to re-furbishment.Very poor welcome beverage tray.One t.bag and coffee satchet each. No heating in our room. I felt the hotel wasn't good value for money in as far as building works were in progress.I wasn't advised of this when I booked. It was a very special occasion for us and I felt very let down. |

The Grand offered excellent service during our stay, the staff were very accomodating and the room was a good size. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was very good. Each floor had a guest facilities cupboard, which you were able to obtain extra milk, tea, shower caps etc if required. The price was good when comparing against more well known commericial 4 star hotels where you'd pay more but you wouldn't receive any better service than you would at the Grand. |

Excellent location for theatres and shops. Quiet, considering the busy location. Good powerful shower. Comfortable desk chair. Bottled water available at no extra charge. No duvet on bed, just a sheet and heavy eiderdown that kept slipping off during the night. Bathroom had a strange fusty smell. Horrible shower curtain. A door would have been better. |

The location was fabulous for theatre and ease to getting around London via underground or simply on foot. Near alot of tourist sites. Our room was in the front of the hotel so it was quite noisey from road and pedestrian traffic. Also vat was added onto our room which was suppose to be included in original price. This added an extra 100 pounds onto the cost. |

I stay regularly at this hotel for business. It is in a good central location for my meetings, for restaurants and transport links. There are not enough lifts in this hotel! During busy periods you may have to let 2 lifts go by before you can catch one. This time round we were allocated a room on 3rd floor so we could use the lifts at the other end which made access a lot quicker and less cramped. |

The reception staff were superb. I asked for a non-smoking room via booking.com, turned up to be advised that there were none available. I then asked to be given alternative hotel as I simply could not stay in a smoking room. After dicussions, a room became available see above. if asked to book a non-smoking room one expects such |

Excellant location. Room very comfortable and clean. Friendly efficient staff. Lack of towels - only one hand towel provided between two people. Bath towels were far too small. Tea & Coffee provided very minimal. Didn't have breakfast as too expensive. |
