“ I stayed in the hotel for a wedding that was held in the hotel. Everything from the moment I arrived to the moment I left was fantastic. The wedding itself was perfect from the ceremony to the reception. The food is excellent and the staff very friendly. I would stay here again without hesitation. ”

Friendly, Professional & attentive staff. Excellent location especially if arriving by train as it it is right in the station decoration was nice, rooms were nice and refurbished. Great historical hotel Not much of a choice for breakfast especially for a 4 star hotel. No gym. After a major refurbishment strange to see a few crack here and there. should be free wifi (not just 30 mins)

On arrival we were not happy with the room and reception sent the concierge to our room to let us see 4 others before we settled on another room, we were highly delighted with the service and would most certainly stay again.

Location and quality of hotel. Restaurant food was very good and staff changed a dish to suit us. Room was comfortable and of high standard Train announcements from 5am on Saturday. Muffled but still intrusive. Our bath had chips on it which showed the metal.

The central location was excellent for all the amenities which central Glasgow has to offer Overly loud music/cabaret from two weddings going on in the hotel. Sound insulation could be better.

Everything was perfectly fine. Great location for the railway station!! One small point re breakfast in the Tempus Restaurant. Whilst it appeared to be the "norm" to have a full pot of coffee on the table regardless of whether you wanted it or not. Why is it that if you want tea this only served by the cup? It would be far better to be given a full pot of tea so you can have a refill as and when you want without having to ask a member of staff.

The room U had in the 3 rd floor overlooked the entrance to the station and was quite noisy probably due to being a Saturday night.

Central location, very comfortable rooms. Breakfast didn't start until 7.30 Mon-Fri and 8 on Saturday which is ridiculously late for a city centre hotel.

Beautiful big, comfortable rooms, great bathrooms, and all in all a great stay. In particular a wonderful Scottish breakfast and a great introduction to Haggis! International travellers should be pre-advised that one cannot drive up to the front door to deliver baggage let alone to find parking. We drove along one way Glasgow streets for an hour after flying from Cananda before parking our car and walking to the hotel to find out what the deal was... and we know our way around alot of cities!.. A heads up should be provided.

Loved the restaurant and enjoyed the champagne bar. Our room 325 opposite the lift. Very Very Noisy, on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights we were repeatedly woken by other residents returning to their rooms (inebriated and talking loudly). Saturday night we were woken at around 2am and again at 3am this was the worst night. The lift itself was noisy but not a major problem but the guests were. I suggest large signs at each floor and in the lifts reminding guests to keep noise to a minimum as other guests are sleeping.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was very convenient as it can be accessed from the central station. The food was very enjoyable. There was no air conditioning and the net curtains in my room looked grubby. I used room service and although I understand there is usually an extra charge for this,I thought £5.00 for each tray was expensive.

The look of the hotel and decor Small things let this down, as so much in price i expected better, no towel rail to dry towels, not replaced either so had to dry with wet towels. Only three pillows in a double room, iron broken and leaked all over our clothes for the wedding, duvet not even big enough to hang off bed and woken several times in the night from noise outside. Plus parking extra which was alot extra onto the bill!

Great customer service and had a very friendly man at Check In. Very good facilities and the hotel catered to everyone. We were room only as we had dinner booked elsewhere and did not taste the food however I would love to come back and have a dinner at the Hotel. I thought the Champagne bar was excellent and very fancy, a bit pricey but you pay for what you get if you have that extra bit of cash. Check out wasn't until 12 when the norm is usually 11, that hour does make the difference. Very central to everything and I would definitely stay at the hotel again, hopefully for more than 1 night next time.
