The location, the views
The hotel has great potential. However the amenities and common areas are quite poor and dated
The location, the facilities (except internet)
I couldn't get internet nor a phone signal. Maybe the weather, but a shame.
The excellent , efficient and courteous staff
Shower and toilet facilities ver cramped
Friendly helpful staff adequate accomodation in quaint sea side resort.
The location, the views, good food. quite posh.
Shower to weak, staff in a rush. no air con in room. lack of parking on site. Quite pricey. Dated décor.
Position, Facilities, Choice of eating places.
Parking, although they do warn you.
Creaky floorboards from above. Curtains let in too much light.
Shabby rooms Hot rooms Noisy rooms Dated bathroom Average breakfast Unfriendly staff at check out
The view and locate we're brillant
The cooked breakfast was very poor
Lots of places to sit and relax in the hotel from inside to outside and enjoy the spectacular views.
Water in the shower kept going from boiling hot to freezing cold.
PARKING. LACK OF SHOWER LIQUID. OVER PRICED .
Very friendly staff Magnificent views Good tasting food Comfy room
Parking (lack of) Menu - not very extensive or adventurous Thought the price was a bit steep relative to the star rating , suspect location is the driver.
The garden The food The view
Too warm in the rooms And downstairs. Stair carpet needs renewing
Views, garden and ease of access to the beach and town
Bar menu with limited options, needs some attention, a lot of items were not available, but what we had was excellent and good value for money. Not being able to gain entrance at 11-00 pm, had to really bang the door before someone came to let us in !
Location Pool Friendly
Toilet wouldn't flush For most of my holiday
Lovely location, hotel what you would expect for its age, clean, excellent service, food average, hotel over priced but then you pay for the view, enjoyed our stay
I booked two rooms, a sea view for my Mother and a landward room for myself. The sea view was excellent.
Hotel very tired and in need of renovation. Very limited parking which was a frustration. The quality of the food in the restaurant was poor. The price charged for our rooms was much to high in relation to the experience.
We were in the 3rd. Floor and was not internet or Wi-fi, very dissatisfied. I was told by the member of the staff that was not s signal on the 3rd. Floor; only on the lower grounds. I ask if was possible to move to another room and I was told that they were fully booked. Really disappointed if I new this problem when I booked I will prefer to go somewhere else.
staff were lovely, stay was very enjoyable
food was great but needed some soft music in the restaurant in the evening
No air con. No fans. Pigeons fly into room and poo everywhere if window in room left open. Hair in bath. Not clean. Cramped room needed updating
the room was small with minimum ventilation and there is a message to close the window because of the pigeons come into the room. the shower was a joke and the tv did not work. the temperature was around 30 deg with no fans provided in the end we had to move out of the hotel as it was to hot in the room. please be aware the rooms are very small with a total lack of ventilation,
All the "public places" were very nice and the staff very obliging
Felt it was a bit run down behind the scenes
Garden /beach /views/ location
Pigeons and no air condition
The sun lounge, and the old world feeling.
We know you cannot change this but the parking.
Breakfast was excellent. Close to the beach.
Parking!! I had to park a block away.
