Great views, good place to stay.
Limited parking, poor food quality.
Ageing décor. Uncomfortable bed. Non matching furniture. Poor shower Failed TV
Poor beds, very old and tired.Breakfast extremely poor , hardly any fruit, badly set out, and little choice
Location Sea view from bedroom fantastic.
Parking. Small cooked breakfast portions. Not very tasty. Dodgy plumbing on 3rd floor.
Helpful and pleasant staff Pleasant terrace garden with good sea view and easy access to beach.
Inadequate parking, had to park on street for one night. Shabby room, not properly cleaned. Tired old bathroom with difficult access to bath and shower. Hot poorly ventilated room Shabby public rooms Premium price for a hotel which is not of standard that might be expected of a 3 star rating.
Great location on a cliff overlooking the beach. You can sit in the veranda or in the garden with a pint of Ringwood and just watch whatever is happening down in the bay. The comfortable, non-corporate ambiance is very relaxing, without the Days Gone By experience extending to the furniture and plumbing.
It was too hot at night. The window, facing the sea, couldn't be opened very far so the room was very warm. A lighter grade duvet might have helped.
Location, views, friendly helpful staff and facilities.
Lack of shelving in bathroom
Location is excelant especially with a seaview room and dining looking out to sea.
Very poor quality mattress. Could feel the springs when lying down. Parking a nightmare , not enough spaces even along the road!
Food, location and view, staff oh and the weather was fab!
Shabby pine furniture in our room.
Mostly the position on cliffs. Lovely garden with sun loungers . Spacious lounge and conservatory with wonderful sea and beach views where snacks and meals available
Beautiful views across Swanage bay and gym/pool facilities
Very slow service on food - over an hour wait.
Location Excellent staff Excellent breakfast
Reception and stairs décor dated. Room on third floor, en-suite was very compact and poor shower facility.
Room over looking the sea. the staff were excellent. The food was very good
Limited car parking places, The lift was a bit bumpy when it stops at your floor
The location, the views
The hotel has great potential. However the amenities and common areas are quite poor and dated
The location, the facilities (except internet)
I couldn't get internet nor a phone signal. Maybe the weather, but a shame.
The excellent , efficient and courteous staff
Shower and toilet facilities ver cramped
Friendly helpful staff adequate accomodation in quaint sea side resort.
The views were excellent , and the food was good as was the service ,
The hotel it's self is way passed it's best and in need of extensive repairs and refurbishment , and does not give value for the prices they charge per night, as we have stayed in far better accommodation for half the price. Perhaps it's time you guys checked this place yourselves!
The location, the views, good food. quite posh.
Shower to weak, staff in a rush. no air con in room. lack of parking on site. Quite pricey. Dated décor.
The views were stunning. The staff were always at hand and were really friendly.
The pigeons were a pain outside our window. There wasn't anything else not to like.
The hotel was ideal for our needs as we had one 94 year old member and one handicapped child. The access to the garden and beach were good and the excellent weather helped. The food was good but we had to wait quite a long time for our meal when we ate in even though we had booked a time.
Parking is difficult and had to leave the car 1/2 a mile away initially. One room was stifling in the hot temperature as there was insufficient ventilation but this was alleviated by the welcome addition of a fan on request.
Position, Facilities, Choice of eating places.
Parking, although they do warn you.
comfortable bed with a good quality bed linen , tea&coffee facility good
considering our double room with land view inc breakfast was £160 a night the room was small ,,, shower very poor old and dated , gents w,c in main hotel lobby over the three day stay never had any hand wash, sun beds in garden some had rips all were filthy , staff very slow at breakfast attendance considering more than half the tables were empty,,
Creaky floorboards from above. Curtains let in too much light.
Shabby rooms Hot rooms Noisy rooms Dated bathroom Average breakfast Unfriendly staff at check out
