The accommodation was part of a self contained unit with shared kitchen facilities, if you like the communal feel, this will do for you. There is also a separate building for all guests, with a help yourself bar (honesty book), which gives a nice feel to the place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The whole set up was very quaint and has a rural feel to it. The bedroom was small, which might not be to everyones taste. |

We arrived late and the night porter Albert was extremely friendly and helpful, ringing the local Indian restaurant to let them know we would be coming for a late meal! There was a power failure overnight, and no sockets worked in the room or kitchen... so we couldn't use hairdryer or make a cup of tea and toast. Also no one available, except cleaners, to make a complaint. |

We had our cottage to ourselves as nonone else was using the other two rooms. This made it quite special. The two ladies serving breakfast were really pleasant. The man on duty at night was rather unplesant. Difficult to find the entrance |

We greatly appreciated the personal and friendly attention that we received. All aspects of our stay were presented to the highest standards. Vehicle access from Forrest Street is not particularly easy. |

We thought the set-up within the courtyard was lovely. We had the four poster room which had lots of character. There is a communal sitting room for the use of the guests with an "honesty" bar above. It is unusual for a B&B to have bar facilities so it was a nice surprise. The couple who run it were most welcoming and friendly and the whole place was lovely and clean. |

The court yard room that we had shared a well stocked kitchen with all mod cons between 4 other rooms. This had a real home from home feel. If you wanted to, you could live independently within the B&B. The kitchen opened out onto a lovely garden which had table and chairs and a fountain. All in all, there was a lot of thought put into making the guest feel at home. |

Rather difficult to find the entrance along the street. A little sign there. About GCR, brown sign leads you to the Quorn & Woodhouse station, not the Loughborough central. |

The owner and staff were extremely friendly. The breakfast was delicious. It would have been nice if breakfast on Sunday had been available a little earlier so my son who was participating in a competition could have had it too! |

We liked the idea off the kitchen that was shared with the 4 rooms in our part of the courtyard. there was plenty of tea and coffee. There was also a solection of breakfast cereals. The room was cleaned to a high standerd. The Black Swan pub that is approx 5 min walk is a good place to go for an Evening Meal was well worth the cost . |

Everything really - lovely, caring staff, very comfortable room, great cooked breakfast. Hotel is tucked away in a quiet residential area but not far from motorway. Liked the old but nicely refurbished farm buildings around a courtyard. Enjoyed the full breakfast in old part of the farmhouse - wooden beams etc. Also liked the shared kitchen well stocked for a light breakfast. I did mention to the staff at check-out that the sink in the bathroom was very low and had a shelf above it so it was very difficult to wash your face, brush teeth etc as it covered half the sink, which was quite small. I think removing the shelf would sort out the main problem of access to the sink but also raising the sink up would help. I also mentioned that the toilet seat was a bit loose. |

The use of a kitchen It was more like a motel than a four star hotel. Breakfast finished at 9am, even on Sunday, which is far too early! |

Lovely attention to detail. Bath robe, smarties, milk and fruit provided. Very friendly staff, quiet and relaxing stay. Only that I had to walk into town to get something to eat in the evening and the kettle was in a shared area not in my own room. |
