Food was quite good when you got it. Tv and wi-fi was advertised niether worked, staff were ignorant and they made it obvious they did not like the English.

The kitchen was shut but they opened it for us. Nicely done out rooms, very clean and excellent price as they also did a single rate. Good full breakfast. Amazing rugged views. Sticky tables.

Good location, reasonably priced and the rooms were very clean , warm and comfortable. The food was good, especially the breakfast. I'd be happy to return and stay again. The fresh coffee was dire. Really tasteless, alas. The manageress was single-handedly trying to cope with everything in the morning so we didn't complain as she was under pressure poor thing.

Room was nicely furnished and comfortable. Not being able to check in for over two hours after arrival as the hotel was closed. Check in advertised as after 2pm, but hotel decided to close in winter between 2-5pm but they don't bother to inform any guests they have booked in.

The food served for dinner was excellent. Excellent pint of CWRW on offer in the bar at regular pub prices. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the best full cooked breakfast I have ever had, highly recommended, no need to eat for the rest of the day.

We arrived late at the grapes but the staff were very friendly & welcoming and our rooms were ready. We also had a very early start so we had arranged for the breakfast items to be ready for us before the normal time. Myself & my friends found this fantastic and we a said we'd use the hotel again. We are already planning a trip to the area next year and will be booing the Grapes. The only issue we had was that service from the menu finished at 8:30pm and was after we arrived. It would have been great if a later menu was available even if this meant a reduced choice.

This is a good place to stay for if you want to get away from it all in snowdonia. we used the hotel as a base for 3 days of mountain biking in the area. Old style traditionally looking pub with friendly staff and decent food, good cooked breakfast in mornings and warm comfy rooms with wifi aswell. Would definitely stay again. could do with a bit of a dust in places, but not something that affected my stay.

Although when I arrived I was told they had booking for me, I had the printed confirmation, they immediately said there wasn't a problem as they had a room available! The hotel is very comfortable and clean. The staff friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. Fabulous menus, with breakfast cooked to order. The setting is picturesque in a beautiful part of Wales.

Nice small hotel. Room was quite big and bathroom was separate - all in good condition with a cumfy bed. Breakfast was good. Two bars with good selection of drinks and real ale which was good.Would use it again but not for dinner - see below. Dinner at night was poor and not up to the mark. This let the hotel down. Also to finish our meal we had the Snowdonia cheeseboard - at £7.95 it was a joke !!

The staff were very helpfull & friendly, with excellent customer service skills. The food was 1st class. The hotel was very cleen, My only complaint was the size of our room, if we returned I would have to stipulate that we did'nt have room 3 it is very small for a double.

Very friendly. Good staff, who cared. Nice rooms, well equipped. Shame that they didn't have Gideon Bibles in any of the rooms. Parking for disabled was not best but if the driver was able, parking to the rear was fine.

My daughter and I loved the Grapes. The staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to help us. The rooms were both spotless and the beds were extremely comfortable. My room had 3 windows, each with the most amazing mountain views. We ate Sunday lunch and it was good value and very tasty. The Welsh breakfast was enormous and delicious.
