This hotel was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, it is a filthy hovel, I wouldn't let a dog stay there. Sheets and towels weren't changed, room wasn't cleaned. Dust on the floor and fluff under the bed. Bed was full of bed bugs. Disgusting.
The room very small the toilet outside the room while the shower inside room dirty carpet bed very small aswell
The position was excellent and staff very polite
Complained that TV was not working daily and not fixed in 10 days
Room not hovered, staff not intrested in resolving problems.
Location, breakfast, room, WIFI.
TV poor reception, room was very small.
Close to the station lovely staff
Tv in my room wasn't working reported no sorted out ,room was very small ,
Reading some reviews I was rather concerned, however, on arrival I was given a free up grade to a double room, which although small was clean, comfortable and had its own patio. I cannot comment on breakfast as I did not eat there, however, the staff are extremely helpful giving me advice on how to get around London and marking areas on the map. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who is spending a few days in London and wanting value for money.
I have no complaints about this hotel.
Location, friendly staff
Not spacious room, light did not work, only hot water in the shower I got burn, bad response to maintenance people
Close to Victoria Station, clean , good breakfast. Very helpful and friendly owners and staff.
Tiny bathroom, but understandable in London.
Apart from location everything is bad
Bed was broken, the smell of the room was not pleasant. We stayed in a basement "room" 19A. Water from the shower had to be turned on from outside the bathroom, and we cannot guaranty if the sheets were clean or not. Wifi in the basement room is not good at all.
Luggage storage facility following check-out. Close to Victoria station and decent pubs etc within easy walking distance.
Poor cleanliness. Thick layer of dust on table and phone. Towels only replaced every other day although even this had to be chased up. Towels and bedding not clean, floor not hovered and old cotton buds left on floor of bathroom. Breakfast not even average. We ended up buying breakfast elsewhere.
The reception on our TV didn't work and wasn't fixed after we asked for it to be sorted. The bathroom in the family room was terrible. The shower taps/ head were dangerous as the water temp was irregular and would go hot or cold without touching the tap - very dangerous with small kids.
Breakfast was good and staff were very friendly and helpful when asked.
Rooms very small (8' x 8'), appeared like unprofessional alterations. Had to ask for things to be replaced.
Electrical wires and system ok. Bed linen ok. Bathroom towels ok. Breakfast food ok. Staff polite and nice.
The photos at the website didn't match at all the actual room that I was given. I barely fitted in the bathroom and there was a high rung of the bathroom to the bedroom! There was no closet, only a metal bar between two walls. The base of the bed lined and the fabric was ripped.
Helpfulness of staff
To many stairs, no lift. Toilet out sided room up three stairs. This could be dangerous.
1. Filth on carpeted floor.coffee or tea stains on walls 2. SERVICE APPALLING, ASKED FOR A BATH TOWEL TO BE SENT TO MY ROOM, TWO HOURS LATER TOWEL ARRIVES. 3.COMPLAINED TO MANAGER WHO TOLD ME I WAS NOT STAYING AT A FIVE STAR HOTEL!!! OH REALLY? I NEVER WOULD HAVE GUESSED!!!!
Nothing, I have stayed in better Military Transit accommodation and thats saying something. The room was filthy, the bedding was full of hairs and had to be changed, the double room was smaller than my garden shed. I would not recommend to anyone PLEASE, PLEASE stay away.
Location is good ..near victoria station to catch underground or bus ..about 10 min .. but no bus stop nearest the hotel than victoria.. breakfast was excellent and the breakfast room is a very good and has a good decoration
The room is very old .. it need a renovation ..the room is very small.. no place to put your luggage..if you put it in the floor you willnot find area to walk in the room.. no table at the room ..if you want to eat something you will eat on bed..the room has an Kettle to make tea or coffe but the kettle was rust /corrosion .. when you put water in it ..there are some metal particulars floating there..it is not healthy to make tea or coffe..I request to change it twice. . The first time they replaced it with burned one. . The second time they bring me anew one but didnt work..the staff is friendly and cooperation but that is the possibilities of their hotel
Not very much at all
The room was very small, the bed was very uncomfortable, the bathroom was very smelly and had a fan operating continually. The room bore no similarity with any of the photographs used in advertising the hotel.
My room was better than expected brand new decor and bathroom location was 5 minutes from Victoria coach station and train station, when I arrived there was a notice on the board saying go next door to the sheriff hotel and this is where I was booked into even though it said grapevine must be the same company. Couldn't fault anything room was modern and breakfast was spot on and location 15- 20 minute walk to Buckingham palace.
Proximity to Coach & tube stations & also a variety of places to eat .We found the Location to be quiet during day & night,so no problems sleeping. Breakfasts were good.
The room was miniscule.Just room for the bed and our suitcases. No chair. No table and you had to go to bed to watch the TV. Shower curtain was too short,so the bathroom flooded with each shower. We thought it very overpriced for what was offered.
Helpful staff, no hassle
ground floor, a bit noisy, tiny room - but only needed a crash - pad
The location was excellent 3 mins walk to Victotia station, lovely little pub for dinners etc close by. The breakfasts were great although dining rooms minute.
The rom we had(1) was so smal one person had to lie on the bed if the other was standing! Bathroom was ridiculously small husband had to back out as couldn't turn around. To sit on loo knees were under hand basin and feet were in the shower! No place for suitcases. Thank goodness it was on the ground floor as staircases were a nightmare.
The money wise and the location
No AC, very small room and no lift
