Food and Bedroom massive shower in the bathroom
Lovely bedroom; modern additions to an old building tastefully carried out. Staff friendly and helpful. Inn had a very nice atmosphere.
Visually very nice Good facilities Friendly Staff
Friendly staff. Individual style of room. Period features of property. Lovely food.
Limits on breakfast choices, for example tea and coffee or fruit juice, not both. Some aspects of rroom were a bit ttired.
A really nice place to stay with very comfortable and nicely styled rooms. The staff were great. I will go back.
Well decorated, good facilities, comfortable bed, staff very friendly and helpful, very good breakfast, good breakfast hours, good location to Tandridge Golf course where the Ladies competiton was being held.
Had requested a quiet room when booking, and had pointed out that it was absolutely vital that my daughter slept well as she was competing in the English Womens Golf Championship at Tandridge Golf Course, we were placed in the Old Pump House, which was on the car park and we could hear the road noise all though the night, all night, car's, lorries everything, it was very bad and kept us awake, the dustbin lorry also came early one morning and the noise was terrible and seemed to last forever, my daughter was so tired and after one day withdrew from the competition. We had three nights at the accommodation and were booked for four but left before the fourth night, we had paid on arrival and were refunded the fourth nights amount. The staff were lovely and we should of complained about the accommodation earlier, it certainly wasn't the quiet room we had requested, very disappointed. The outside accommodation needs more roof, window and door insulation, acoutic glass and also a chain on the inside of the door as my daughter and I felt a bit in secure with out one.The noise ruined our stay and the competition which I had driven 290 miles to. The hotel were also aware from past experience that the accommodation was noisy, so very disappointed !!
We had an excellent one night stay at this charming inn. The food and service was excellent. Staff extremely friendly. Only sorry we could not stay longer. Nice family room.
Excellent food inc large breakfast Helpful friendly staff
Room lacked basic amenities e.g no hangers or flannels and no shelf in bathroom
This Coaching Inn is unique, still with many original features. Well worth a visit. Breakfast excellent.
We chose to stay in one of the 2 annexed rooms, which unless you are a fan of "Hi-De Hi", you may not appreciate. Wi-Fi or 3G 'phone signal....forget it... Hotel cuisine....expensive & questionable!
Wonderful old building, super staff. Owen and Samantha were friendly and helpful.
Our room did not have enough air circulation and the weather was warm. I suggest that if there is not enough window area, they put in some sort of air conditioning. Without sufficient windows some of the rooms can be stuffy.
Loved our room xxxxxxx Food excellent at Dinner and breakfast.
The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The breakfast was wonderful.
I felt second rate staying in the annex in the car park and a little vulnerable. It was a lovely ensuite although the duvet was far too thick for summer and the cups too small for a decent drink.
The staff were particularly friendly and helpful.
The annex, in which we stayed, is next to the bin store and they were collected a 6.30am!
excellent one night stay in cottage (Pump room) Bedroom and ensuite fine Breakfast extremely good Dinner also excellent Reception and bar staff excellent Service at meals attentive and friendly
Minor point, amusing - Took us a while to find out that the scratching near the front door at night and early morning was a squirrel - we should have realised this !
Being in the little cottage in the car park
Stayed in one of the annexes, lovely. Bed was super comfy but my poor mum stayed in adjoining annexe and hardly slept because the bed was rather uncomfortable. Food gorgeous and staff attentive. Will be back next year.
Nice food and tidy comfy room
Tepid Water In Shower Noise from road/car park if window open Bed not overly comfy
Room was very stuffy with no way of opening the window!
The surroundings and the old fashioned way the place has been done.
Nothing to comment as we only stayed 1 night
Friendly welcome and service. Attractive and attentive staff - particularly impressed with Sam who served our breakfast. A charming and friendly person who is an asset to the Inn. Excellent food and selection of drinks.
Rather "tired", well-worn, dusty rooms.
The whole place was very dirty in general."Boutique" or "shabby chic" does not mean grubby and dirty !. The "hot" meals in the restaurant were cold limited choice for breakfast no fruit juice, cooked breakfast was cold. No ventilation in bathroom and bedroom, the shower flooded the whole bathroom and into the bedroom. Poor lighting and no bedside table/cabinet,the list goes on,would not stay here again.
The Breakfast started at 8 ? this is too late !! A delay in being served dinner and then the meal was not as described . The manager apologized but then still charged full price !!!
Beautiful old building with completely modernized facilities and bedrooms with the character still kept. Staff were very friendly and the food was excellent
Breakfast needs to start earlier then 8
Friendly staff. Good location as a jumping-off point to explore the area.
Poor wi-fi connection in the Old Pump House
