I thought the place was good the only fault would be the outside appearance ( but dont be misled). The reception and food were top class, I will certainly use the place again.

Was met with a warm welcome, and although arrived earlier than the check in time, and room not ready was allowed to check in and store our luggage. Hotel as been recently refurbished and can have no complaints of the overall cleanliness. Great location with Worcester centre only a 10 min walk away. Shutters up at the hotels front windows gives the air that the hotel is shut, (a book spoilt by its cover)

The proprietor Trisha was absolutely delightful: Pleasant, funny and very hard working - not a lot of assistance available to her. High fibre cereal options were available. Breakfast bacon was very good quality. Beans OK. Fruit juice OK. An iron was available for guest use, but see below. Sheets & towels were clean. bed comforatable. Showers worked just OK. Rooms were available there during Christmas Fayre Weekend which must be one of the busiest of the year. Breakfast was not available before 9am so exit was rushed. Business people would not tolerate that. One of the two rooms had a geriatric old-peoples-home miasma about it. Carpet stained. No tea or coffee & kettle.in room. No tooth glass. NO REAL COFFEE for breakfast. Sausages were the worst quality I have had in any B&B or hotel in Britain - rusky, undercooked & flaviourless. . No real choice for cooked breakfast: egg or no egg and then take what you're given. No toast, no wholemeal bread, no sweeteners, no fruit avaiable We paid £170 for both and got a £25 a room food. Had we been charged £40 each it would still not be a bargain. No real coffee (nor tea) avaialble at the bar of an evening. One of the rooms did not have a proper window. Ironing board not available to go with the iron. I have had much worse rooms but the proprietors need to get out and see what others are offering by way of food. Much too expensive for the facilities especially food on offer Getting suasages from Tescos would be a 2000% improvment. These were the last rooms available in town and we were grateful to get anything but at £85 each we were expecting much more of the food and beverage quality. Sachets of sub-Nescafe ersatz coffe in the breakfast room will not do.

Very friendly and great location for the city of Worecster, also directly opposite train station for travellers. Lovely bed and clean comforable rooms. Sort the air in the radiators though, a bit noisy ! But overall, would recommend and stay there agin for convenience, location and freindliness. Noisy radiators.

Lady in reception and cook in the morning was very helpful and even made my breakfast earlier for me so that I could get away on time. Excellent old fashioned service.THANKS No fault of the hotel but a very noisy group of girls having a lively weekend break. (Sure I have done similar in my youth!!)

Good location, 10 mins walk into town centre. Good parking facilities and we were allowed to leave the car on the Sunday after we had checked out as we wanted to go back into Worcester for a few hours. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean and spacious room. Lovely bathroom with hot water when we needed it. Bed very comfy. Big TV on the wall. Breakfast was good, plenty of cereals and toast and a cooked breakfast freshly made to requirements. As previous comment stated this is not a 4* but excellent value for money, we would recommend to anyone and we will definately stay again when in Worcester.

I liked the location of the hotel near Worcester Shrub Hill station, 10 minutes walk from the city centre, and the manager, Trish, was charming. There was no lift and the rooms were not very clean, under the beds. The hotel is old, so matters such as the hot water in the shower and other minor setbacks are addressed by a notice on the bathroom wall.

We found the hotel staff friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was good and filling we had the full english. There was plenty of toast and cereal as well. We would certainly book again as it is very convenient for us when visiting our friends. It's location in the middle of a light industrial estate could be viewed as a slight draw back but it is very near the staton.

close to city ,parking avaiable this hotel could be great if money and time is spent to bring it into this century, quite a few negatives, and not meaning to offend but get a cleaner who can dust and clean every inch of the room ,the obvious places were clean but all other areas were very dirty even switching tv on was a layer of dust , breakfast was ok but were you ate it was so dull and unpleasant and old it just became food not an xperience .
