Old oak beams and tasteful decor. Pretty bedrooms and modern bathrooms. Very clean. A perfect stop over. Has it all - Gd location, great pub/restaurant & friendly staff.
location great, hotel has been given a very impressive modernisation, the décor everywhere is excellent, we stayed room 8. beautiful bedroom and fantastic bathroom. food staff everything brilliant. booked to go back in November
nothing. never said that before.
nice friendly pub. Staff are very efficient, nothing to much trouble. good food. Accommodation was nice.
the cottage we stayed in was very nice until the occupants upstairs arrived back at 3 am and woke us up ! they then proceeded to walk about for about an hour, the nose was horrendous, you can hear everything ! not a pleasant stay on a Saturday night ! !
character, open fires, welcoming ambiance
a wedding meant very busy in and around bar/restaurant, no area for them to go while room being organised for reception
The staff were excellent; very friendly & great service at mealtimes. Especially impressive as they had a wedding on the same weekend but it didn`t affect anything. History of the Inn Location
Nothing to fault. Would recommend to anyone
The food was excellent. The location was great for where we wanted to be and the comfort of the rooms were of a very good standard.
Although the staff were friendly they were not attentive enough, we feel, at dinner. Our glasses of champagne were not refilled - only came to our table when we finished each course. WiFi was very patchy. Bar food ie sandwiches was restricted to times.
Food was fantastic and good value for money. Nice and clean, good breakfast.
Cleanliness Comfort Friendliness of staff Efficiency of staff Breakfast - Excellent full english, lovely yoghurt Size of accommodation ( apartment) Free Wifi
Not the best ribeye steak we've ever had for dinner, how can that be when we are staying in Herefordshire! Didn't complain though as we didn't want to spoil our special occasion. Would have complained otherwise on another day. The cost of the accommodation - a touch overpriced in our opinion Lack of mirrors in the rooms
Food was excellent, Breakfast was possibly one of the best I have ever had with good quality products being used.
Noise from neighbouring rooms is quite loud, I could even here the kettle boiling.
Lovely place to stay staff where very good nothing to much trouble.Breakfast was lovely as was the food in the evening. Would stay here again
Staff we're friendly, attentive and professional. Restaurant was superb and the decor was a The perfect blend of traditional and contemporary.
Staff, food, wine, walking near by Room 1 is in the main part of the Inn, the towel rail looks impressive but did not work, did not worry us so did not complain just pointed it out when we left The Inn sign is right outside the window, squeaks when the wind blows hard, again not a problem for us!
The food. The ambience. The helpful staff. The amazing breakfast.
Poor Internet reception and no mobile phone signal. Everything else was perfect.
Nice quiet location, beautifully finished bedroom & bathroom. Excellent breakfast
My wife found the light in the bedroom a bit dim for applying make up and dressing etc
Welcoming staff who were very helpful and attentive. Super bar and restaurant. Lovely cooked breakfast, best we have had for a while. Restaurant prices good.
Having to change rooms because the bathroom heater didn't work. Move done quickly and effortlessly.
A rural gem. Great base for shopping in Hereford and also exploring the Marches. Good food and drink, and a very comfortable bed!
Everything was beautifully done. Staff were attentive and it had a lovely atmosphere. Very professional and also homely and inviting. I would recommend it and would certainly return again.
The lights outside the rooms did not work which made it difficult to key in the code to the door at night. Room had not been cleaned very well. These things can easily be rectified.
Beautiful Food..both our evening meals and our cooked breakfasts, huge choice of wines, plentiful parking, gorgeous rooms, quirky interior... we loved everything about this place!!
Our room was really nice, modern and fresh. We were very comfortable.
Stayed in the double apartment, two great rooms with on suites and lounge/kitchen in between. Very secure and newly refurbished. Shower is amazing!! Every staff member was expertly trained in their craft - nice to see.
Booked 2 lovely rooms for a birthday party. Staff very friendly, & good meal in restaurant.
We stayed 2 nights B&B at the green man. Location is great - plenty of places to walk, not too far from Hereford or Ross on Wye. Staff were very friendly and professional throughout our stay. The manager was very accommodating - arranging a meal for 15 of us at very short notice. The food was brilliant! Great choice and tasty. Breakfast was great also. Locally produced sausages - have a drink in the bar and you might meet the local butcher who produces them!! Rooms were very comfortable and modern with lots of traditional character.
Rooms were a bit hot when the heating came on - switch the radiator down before turning in for the night.
It's rare to find perfect pillows, great sleep
Attentive staff, great food in a fabulous location. Lots of lovely walks close by to choose from, Thank you for a lovely stay!!!
The stay was over too quickly
Food was very good, we ate in the restaurant in the evening but did feel a bit rushed as they were busy moving tables round ready for sunday lunches we feel they should have waited for the guests to leave before starting it was not late we left approx 9.45pm
The only downside was for breakfast my husband asked for porridge and the full english breakfast but was told you can only have one or the other, but amusingly you could have cereals and the full breakfast not quite sure why he was refused porridge.
