We arrived circa 4pm and told the restaurant was full so would have to eat elsewhere. The reception staff suggested a couple of options, the majority of which were fully booked so they managed to get us into a local pub, some 10 mins or so away which was...... Average to say the least!! The next day, we were told that young children could use the pool between 9-10am and the 4.30-6pm, slightly disappointed as the main reason for booking The Greenway was to take our 1 yr old Son swimming. After waiting around until 4.30pm, we were then told he was too young to use the pool facilities and would not be allowed!! There is no mention of this on The Greenway website and no restrictions were told to us when we arrived!! After complaining to the management, we were offered a £20 bottle of champagne then, as this was no where near sufficient, a £60.00 reduction to our bill!! Pathetic!!!! All in all, a lovely hotel but a very disappointing weekend!!!

The hotel was lovely, it was more like a 5 star hotel. The superior rooms are so big and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was amazing too, we really enjoyed our stay an will be going back this year.

Stayed as apart of Birthday celebrations - excellent service, great facilities, great food - we will definitely return

Spa was beautiful, very relaxing, not too busy, room was very clean, staff were helpful where needed.

Our room was a bit small, but still ok. Batch could have been bigger to fit two!

Fantastic building So much History it was like stepping back in time. Rooms were superb. Very quiet. Staff are lovely. Good breakfast.

No lifts to top floors but This is a listed building.

This is my third visit to the Greenway in the last 2 months, so I must like it! It's like a home from home. The restaurant is excellent and the service is personal and friendly. It's the perfect place to relax with easy parking, stunning location and pleasant spa area.

Something very minor, but I'll take this opportunity to mention it :-). The fitness room could benefit from a barbell!

Friendly, good Sevice, excellent food. comforatble bed. Staff attentive, wondeful surroundings and local 16th Century pub in Sheepscombe.

We liked it that much, we stayed another night. Excellent for a relaxing break.. The staff and facilities were exceptional. Food out of this world,so tasty. We will be back.

This is superb hotel and everyone was friendly, polite and very caring. Restaurant was a something special... Above any expectation!

Wonderful staff in all areas.The room was large and pleasant with far reaching views.Food was delicious and the fire in the hall was very welcoming-oh and great spa!

It was like being in your home.I loved the open fire on arrival ,no stuffy reception. Friendly staff and beautiful surroundings.
