The location, the staff and the cooked breakfast.
Bed was lumpy
Food was great
We booked a budget room at it was 1 night after my hubby had completed a charity run, the room was clean but very basic. There was a fan going until midnight from the kitchen although I mentioned this in the morning and the staff was very apologetic.
The location was fantastic, staff very helpful, breakfast was lovely.
The free WiFi did not work unless you were in the bar, nowhere else.
Breakfast was very good. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The budget room was very small and there was a lot of noise from the neighboring room/s.
Nice location. Friendly staff. Decent bar area. Good breakfast.
sockets hanging off walls, curtains hanging down, toilet cistern running all night in room, stained carpets ,no wardrobes, window looking out onto fire stairwell and dumped rubbish, bath surround broken,
location was good
If greeting visitors in the bar, then it needs to be better organised
Good single room Lovely dining room
The staff were very welcoming
The hotel, outside the bar area, is in a poor state. I understand that there is a fair turnover of owners so this could be the reason. In some areas, the sockets on the walls in the bedrooms are loose, deeming them dangerous, the showers are held up with sticky tape and there was a severe case of damp in one of our bedrooms.
The staff were very helpful.
No walk in shoppers
the sign missing on the front of the building. could do with a proper reception
cleaniness and the breakfast
nothing to dislike
the atmosphere of the cumbrian lake district and the friendliness of the locals
Customer service on arrival
Kind lady gave us plates for our drunken Chinese
Condition of room although clean floor tiles cracked and loose, bath cracked, toilet roll holder broken, sockets loose from wall and WiFi did not connect to room. A steep deposit was asked for bringing our small dog of £100 which was not advertised or mentioned on website.
The breakfast was very good
Did not have a bad experience
The bar snacks and breakfast were excellent
The parking is limited and wifi available only in the bar and reception.
The stuff memeber is friendly amd super helpful. Bed is quite confortable and very nice heater.
quick check in room was clean breakfast there was a great choice to have bar was friendly would stop again
The staff we're all very friendly i loved the local feel of the bar and the hotel was very clean
room was unclean Bed was dirty Bed was uncomfortable
Very efficient staff, lovely clean pub smelling of polish and a great fire, great rooms.
Booked a budget room, well worth the money.Really nice staff, food etc.
The breakfast was very good. Free parking
Not enough clothing space if staying more than one night.
Walking distance from the lake. Excellent breakfast and lovely staff.
Could have done with more towels (only one hand towel) + better range of teas/coffees/hot chocolate in the room.
Great location, just a few minutes from the station. Very comfortable stay and within walking distance of all Windermere facilities, shops, pubs, restaurants etc.
good hotel near train station, would use again
