Very centrally located and brilliant for sightseeing. Excellent staff who were all very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was also excellent with delicious, locally sourced produce. Breakfast was stunning and gave us a great start to our day.

    Room needs 2 chairs

Access stairs up from bar to rooms above urgently needs a good clean. Dining plates for breakfast were not cleaned properly on 2 mornings. Scum marks and remnants of food stuck to plates! Room cleaner.. It is not a good look to see room cleaner washing mugs in bathroom basin. WC cleaning brush holder was holding scummy water!!

feel of the old construction, lots of character.

met a tourist on the stairs who was almost in tears trying to carry her overweigh bag down narrow stairs, suggest it may be good to offer little people with oversize luggage a hand as stairs are quite narrow.

We loved everything about this old pub!! Staff were super friendly, the room was well presented and clean with a very comfortable bed! The breakfast in the morning was delicious and it was great value for money! I would definitely stay here time and time again.

Everything about the inn was good. Comfortable bed, spotless en suite, breakfast.

Finding the nearest long stay car park (charlotte Street) and its cost. One way system in Bath is awful, but the Griffin is fine.

Really relaxed with all the comforts that great staff can offer and deliver in spades! Just a short stroll from all Bath's places of interest and watering holes should a flagging spirit need boosting, I wasn't disappointed with any part of my stay and would happily recommend and certainly return for more of their same recipe of welcoming atmosphere that the Griffin Inn has on offer.

The location of The Griffin Inn is excellent. In easy reach of the Roman Bath and the beautiful Bath Abbey. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We even received a Bottle of Prosecco on our first night. The breakfast in the morning was great. Everything was freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The eggs are range free ,the bread came from a bakery nearby and the meats were locally sourced. If you looking for sleek service, air cons and lifts,The Griffin Inn is not for you. But if you are looking for a small and cosy Hotel with lots of character, squeaky stairs and sash windows you have to stay here. We loved the "englishness" of this place.

As it was very hot during our stay,we would have liked a little fridge in our room to keep our drinks cold.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! Will return just for the staff. The breakfast was lovely and the accommodation was comfortable.

There was no air-conditioning and the rooms at the top were stifling hot in the summer time. Wifi didn't work consistently in the top rooms. No elevator, and narrow stairs so might be difficult if carrying large or heavy luggage.

I thought it was a little pricy for an American, it ends up being 150$, which isn't bad at all, but I would have liked it a little lower!:)

The location was good- within walking distance to the centre and attractions such as Bath Abbey. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful.

The pillows were very soft. Being an old building the room door creaked, the floor was sloped due to building structure.
