Score from 9 reviews Superb
Friendly and professional staff. Rural location. Attention to detail. High quality throughout from food to service to decor and quality of bedding and furnishing.
Nothing to dislike.
Perfectly welcoming staff, delicious food during the dinner, excellent wine advice, immaculate cleanliness and comfort of the room - it is a great place to stay!
I liked everything about the place.
Very friendly owners and attentive staff. Upgraded to a suite, something the owners try to do when available. VERY clean and well maintained room. A cut above most high end hotels. I would highly recommend.
Staff very friendly helpful & attentive
Hairs in bath
The food served at this hotel is great but expect to pay top restaurant price
The first bedroom I was allocated was extremely disappointing, the second bedroom was better and in the main house was better, not sure why I was given the first room as the hotel was very quiet midweek.
The hotel itself is a wonderful house set in the beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside. Decor is sophisticated and stunning. Staff are attentive, friendly and highly professional. Food is excellent. A thoroughly enjoyable and restful stay.
brilliant food and relaxed atmosphere
Amazing food. Possibly the best I have ever tasted in the worlds
The first impressions were magnificent and we were not disappointed the whole weekend! The friendly welcoming staff, the immaculate bedroom, the delicious food all made a truly fantastic weekend and the sun shone! Thank you one and all at The Grove
Location Excellent staff Relaxing surroundings Food (breakfast and dinner)
Fantastic views of surrounding countryside, peace and quiet of the beautiful grounds and an enviable kitchen garden. The staff were pleasant and helpful but not intrusive and the food was of a very high standard. We stayed in one of the cottages which was very well equipped and comfortable. An ideal place to relax and recharge ones batteries!
It is hard to think of anything to criticise except the breakfast times could be better say, from 8am to 10.30am and the check out time extended from10am to 11am. The price of the hotel is high but probably fair given the quality of the product.
Gardens Friendly staff Breakfast
Orange juice served in badly cracked glass at breakfast. Starter of £58 dinner menu had to be sent back cos overcooked and in edible. Hand held shower out of control soaking user and bathroom at random even when not selected. Calling us by our Christian names rankled.
An excellent, quality Hotel. Highly attentive, pleasant, well trained staff. We had a most enjoyable, relaxing stay.
Fantastically friendly staff, lovely spot and a great room with a view.
Not really walking distance from Narberth
Very nice secluded location in very quiet country setting! Very friendly, helpful staff. Easy to get to every thing we wanted to do (shopping, site seeing, church, and family history! Had a great time and will return again!!
Food & awesome drinks list
Matradee needed to zip up his flies!
Ambience service peacefulness food
Fantastic restaurant, beautiful rooms and nicely restored country house.
Charming , helpful staff, Utterly delicious food, beautifully presented.Relaxing decor. Comfortable bed. Romantic atmosphere. Not cheap but worth it.
Only prix fixe dinner available in evening...no a la carte so tempted to eat too much to justify £54. Fine for a couple of nights but gets a bit much on a longer stay.
Great service and food.
The only negative thing I would say is that the light on the fire alarm above the door in our room was very bright and did keep us awake.
Lovely location and staff
Food very good but tiny portions -main couse particularly minimal!
the surroundings and welcome particularly from all the female staff. Quality of fittings, linen, china etc. Interesting breakfast menu. Very sophisticated dinner, good wine.
Sunday morning breakfast service was not as one might expect, waited for coffee, service overseen by french male who gave more attention to other guests.
Excellent quality of service, staff were very helpful and polite.
