Das Hotel liegt ideal, um in kurzer Zeit (ca. 5-10 Minuten) zu Fuß in die City von York zu gehen und somit dem teilweise stressigen Autoverkehr zu entgehen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Im Badezimmer waren kleinere Sachen reparaturbedürftig, jedoch nichts Bedeutendes. |

Die Lage zum Stadtzentrum war optimal. Das Hotel war in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse. Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Alles okay! |

Very quiet, easy walk into city, good breakfast, easy parking, comfortable beds, friendly staff Room in annexe to hotel - cold on arrival but soon warmed up. Dated bathroom, noise from guests above - would prefer to stay in main house if stay again appreciate renovation work in progress |

this hotel is very freindly, clean and value for money. it is situated 1/2 a mile, 10min walk from the centre of town, great location. Will use again when i return to York. |

Very relaxing atmosphere, with very good breakfast. Room was good size and comfortable although TV channel selection and picture not brilliant, if TV is what you want whilst away from home. Ideal location for seeing the city. |

A nice easy walk to the city centre The bed was only slightly more comfortable than sleeping on the cobblestoned pavements of York. Breakfast was made with cheap ingredients. |

The location was first class and the staff were excellent.The breakfast was first class and overall the hotel was good value for money. It was obvious there was some decoration work being done at the hotel and, although not off-putting to myself, I could envisage other customers being put off by the amount of materials lying around the corridors while this work is being carried out.Having said that, this is temporary and I'm sure the end result will be worth the inconvenience. |

Very friendly welcome and the staff were friendly. The decor in the bedroom was dated and the bed needed to be replaced but given that the owners have only been there since May I am sure they will soon get round to it. |
