We have 10 en suite rooms in 2 separate buildings, allowing guests to come and go as they please, unrestricted by pub opening hours. All our rooms are non-smoking and have colour, freeview TVs, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryers.

Room information

Our budget rooms are located in converted stables and include en suite bathrooms. They cannot accommodate extra beds or cots; only the larger standard rooms have space for extra beds.

In the new building constructed in 2004, there are 3 ground floor rooms with shower rooms. They have been designed to suit the disabled visitor, featuring fold-down shower seats and hinged grab rails, raised toilet seats and vibrating/strobe smoke alarms. Upstairs in this building are a further 3 rooms which include en suite baths with overhead showers.

Situated in the Blackmore Vale, we are ideally placed to explore the 3 counties of Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset. From here, you can get to Stourhead Gardens in Wiltshire in 15 minutes, Sherborne in Dorset in 15 minutes and Wincanton. Somerset is 3 miles away. Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum, Haynes Motor Museum, Wincanton Racecourse, Sherborne Abbey, Sherborne castles, Shaftesbury and Ham Hill Country park are all within easy reach. And there is lots more to explore nearby.

Travel information

We are just off the A357, equidistant between the A303 and A30. If you are travelling from London/SE to Cornwall or visa versa, we are a lovely halfway point. Templecombe BR is one mile away and is on the main Waterloo to Exeter line.
