Very helpful staff made for an enjoyable stay giving us quiet rooms on the fifth floor so we could sleep during the day prior our night shift. Rooms were a good size and very clean.
The lift was out of action for a short duration but caused no significant problem.
Staff were excellent - no complaints at all
It was quite in the room when window was closed. The food was good. The staff were good.
The room was way to hot and there was no heating on I had to sleep with the window open all night and there was noise from some plant outside the window. I would imagine that the room was above a kitchen. There was no bin in the room only a small one in the bathroom. The room was very small and wasn't value for money. The remote batteries need changing.
i stayed their recently when the fire alarm went off. havig had a late night. we had to go outside in the cold. it wasnt made clear what was going on so we made our way outside the building. i accept it could have been an emergency but nothing was made clear to us. so we decided to leave not knowing what was happening. we didnt have time to go back and get cleaned and dressed . we mention this to your duty manger last weekend when we stayed but i wasnt happy with her manner basically saying these things happen which i accept but i think she came across has not caring about the isue we had.
Vehicle noise from the road.
It's Morden everywhere else. Apart from the bathroom.
Bathroom to be updated. But the bathroom was clean.
The location, service and food were very good
I don't like showers that are in the bath. I think the majority of rooms should have showers with some rooms having baths to cater for people who prefer them
Friendly and helpful late night reception staff. Oh, and I used to teach at Amy Johnson High School in Hull, so I was pleased with your decor.
Nothing to dislike.
Bed and room comfortable had to move from first room as no view from window
We were attending a dinner, the meal was not as per menu and when we asked for cheese instead of pudding man said no way could we change
the easiness, the quietness,
Location for wedding reception We only stayed 1 night
The bed was the most uncomfortable we had ever slept in.Every time we turned over the springs pinged! Staff didn't seem that bothered when we informed them the following morning
As I got the Hotel on a deal for £60, I would say it was worth this money. However, if I paid the full normal price, I would not have been happy with this hotel.
I did not enjoy the restaurant/ bar that you have to walk through to get to your room. you feel like you should not be walking there and are getting in the way. Also my Room smelt of Mold and the bathroom had mold on the roof and walls.
Everything was just perfect. The service was good, the room was clean and the location was central.
Hotel had nice decor.
Overcharged for room when checking in as front of house didn't check my booking details first. Had to sort out a refund. Asked about the free leisure facilities but informed that we both needed to pay a £5 surcharge to use them despite what your website said.
We stayed in room 3 it was a total nightmare. No air conditioning so had to have the window open ALL night which meant we had NO sleep as we were at the front of the hotel which is never normally a problem as me and my partner stay at the hallmark every week. As an asthmatic having a room with air conditioning really helps. I will continue to stay here but I will refuse a room such as room 3 in the future.
asked for pillows to be changed whilst we were out. only pillow cases were changed
Rooms not checked and replenished before checking guest in, staff indifferent. Close to busy road, with traffic noise coming through, bathroom not clean and find hairs on the pillow and sheet. Room dimly light and not good for reading if you want to work, and bedside lamps faulty. Should not be classified as a four-star, as facilities don't match.
the fire alarm went off.wasnt sure if it was false or not . had to go and wait outside. no one offered an explanation what was going on so we decided to leave instead of standing in the carpark. didnt even have time to get dressed so we didnt get much sleep in the first place
The reception staff was friendly.
The WiFi never never worked for our two nights stay
Generally excellent but with one exception.
Surly, incompetence of evening receptionist with Newcastle accent.
Location & breakfast
1.No top sheet on the bed. 2.Hard to get to sleep with the noise of the traffic & noise of a wedding party going on till midnight. 3. I ordered a Sunday newspaper on checking in & reminded reception the following day, but the newspaper didn`t arrive. When I checked to find out why I was told newspaper was not ordered. 4. Do not disturb sign missing, no tissues in the room & window unable to close.
Staff were polite
- no minbar/fridge - no in room safe - weak wifi - no hooks in bathroom - no hot water for shower - heated towel rail cold - no teaspoons - poor quality/cold breakfast - net curtains not big enough to close
The location of the hotel...clean ensuite room with a fridge.
I didn't like that someone from housekeeping walked in my room at 9am while I was changing got quite scared...doors don't shut properly either...
first time and the third time staying it was very comfy room was very clean
my second time staying at hallmark hotel the room smell very damp and it was very noisey I cold hear the door bell next to me ringing every ten minutes I kept waking up thinking it someone was at my door. plus there was stain on the sheet and bed.
It was a good room quite a bit of space and breakfast was nice for my partner and two boys
The room was cool most the night me and my partner was quite cold during the night but on real problems
