the hotel is no more than a restaurant with a few letting rooms. and not what i would consider to be 5 star. (but maybe the star rate is for the restaurant.) but the rooms are very over priced. our room was sparse, rather than minimal, and the sofa you could not sit on as it doubled as a bed, and tipped forward, which made you feel like you were sliding off. breakfast on the first day was great, the second morning we were reduced to half portions, not so great!!
when we checked out, and paid (£360 for 2 nights b&b mid week) we did tell the lady at reception, about our disappointment, but she was very affronted.
fantastic location, only a moment from the beach. the room (number 5) was large, with a great sea view. we had a very comfy bed.
and the coffee pod machine was a nice touch.
