The location was perfect and the apartment was great for my young family, kids and us very happy
The location was great, right in the city so perfect for going out and shopping. It was beautiful and sunny on Christmas Day and we walked from the apartment down to the beach for a stroll along the sands. Washing machine/drier worked well and we caught up on our laundry. Hope to stay there again!
No complaints at all.
Location, Kitchen, large rooms.
I put fair down for staff, because we were told 2 days before that it was going to be unstaffed and the key was being left outside for us. I put fair down for cleanliness because when we arrived there was a horrible vomit smell in the living room, so had to open all the windows and sit in bedroom. I put poor down for wifi because we were told the code would be on a bit of paper in the room. It wasn't and as it was unstaffed we couldn't connect. It might well be brilliant once you connect.
The Hansen Residence is a wonderful choice for an extended stay in Aberdeen. It is centrally located and has all the amenities one can hope for: cultural, shopping, dining and transportation. An excellent value for the money has it is not only comfortable but is also spacious and allows for entertaining guests, cooking, and relaxation, Highly recommended and would be our choice for next visit to Aberdeen
There are a few things that can be improved: in a windy city as Aberdeen double glazing on the windows could have been a plus. The kitchen is right for a short stay but could be better stocked in terms of additional pans, pots and bowls. Finally, a few more door-stoppers could be a wonderful addition as otherwise you can't keep the doors open.
Nice and warm, central location, superbly suited to the business traveller
Location, WiFi, Spacious, modern and well organised
The location is very central and within walking distance of 3 shopping centers and in the square outside the Residence there were pubs and an Indian restaurant
the Wi-Fi required a degree to get to work and even with 2 very computer literate kids , we never got to use the Wi-fi
The facilities were excellent, location great and standards very high. The management responses have been excellent and other businesses could learn a lot from them. Views were fantastic and we were in very close proximity to a good variety of things to do. The apartments are well equipped. Beds very comfortable.
An iron and a hair drier would be useful to have in the room when trying to travel light.
Location, setting lounge, kitchen, bathroom and cleaness
The bedroom with double bed as I asked for two persons, me and my elder son 18 years. The bed was very small and duvet was small that we can not cover ourselves. We could not sleep, Therefore my son left the place.
Apartment was clean and fairly comfortable. The lounge had comfortable sofas and a TV.The kitchen was well stocked with tea, coffee, milk etc. Handy to have a fridge, cooker, washing machine. The beds were comfortable and we slept reasonably well on our first night. Bathroom clean, plenty of towels and some toiletries. The position of the apartment was very central so easy to get about Aberdeen on foot. The location of the apartments is OK for adult travellers just be careful walking in this area at night.
The building that houses the apartments actually also has a Salvation Army Hostel within it so lots of noise and disturbance from 'down and outs'. We had to use a side entrance and dark unpleasant staircase to get to our apartment, which to some people could feel alarmed by. The walls of the apartments are thin so consequently on our second night when a nearby resident had a hacking cough we didn't get a wink of sleep. We were glad to leave a day early. I wouldn't recommend to singles or families as this area of Aberdeen doesn't feel that safe.
Large, comfortable rooms. Bed comfortable.
Non double glazed windows so street noise.
Nice location and walking distance to many things. Very historic area. Apartment well set out.
One of the high windows was open and there was no pole to close and lock it. Apartment below street level and people kept looking into the apartment and it got a bit noisy at night.
Yes, very nice. Staff very helpful. I was in the annexe - next to a bar but no noise after 10.30pm. Highly recommended
Nothing to report here
Great location, great view, lot of room, friendly and helpful staff, nice and modern furniture, washing machine, fully equipped kitchen. We would go back for sure!
Windows do not open, you hear all the noise from outside, small mattress.
Exceptional value for money ,view ,furnishings and size!
Bit of a curry smell ... No ensuite,
Everything you could have wanted was in the apartment. All the kitchen items you would need (including washing up liquid) and a washing machine - great for a family with small children. A Home from home -we as a family all loved it and the location was excellent - right next to union street and a short walk from the beach area. Perfect for a short stay in Aberdeen city centre. Next time I'd request a better view in the main building ( & it has a lift).
Not much...to be picky...the 3 flights of stairs with a pushchair - no lift ... The pub below was SO noisy we couldn't sleep (kids did and we had the noisy room) but not the fault of the hansen... I Expected a better view as per photos so next time I'd request a nice room with a view down union street in the main part of the building as it has a lift! No xbox - kids were disappointed. A table and chairs would be great - sitting room was large enough to accommodate one.
Good quality, good price and services. Lots of space and a central location.
The wifi was down and nothing was done to fix it
For my needs it was very good. Quiet, local and close to places to eat.
I was in an adjacent building to the main hotel and the wifi for my building wasn't working. The one down side to the whole visit.
Brand new Modern clean functional apartment in an excellent location close to bars, restaurants, train station and the port. Would use The Hansen Residence again when in Aberdeen.
The shower didn't work, and it looked like the apartment building had just been handed over by the builders. In one of the cupboards there was a load of building material and tools. Once the owner rectifies these minor issues out cannot see further problems.
Fantastic location, fantastic apartment, fantastic stay, we will be back!
location, very central.Flat was modern, clean, comfortable and a perfect base for our night out in Aberdeen. Great Value for money.
More milk sachets please!!
Everything apart from that there was no iPod docking station.
There was no iPod docking station.
Great kitchen, large apartment.
Bedroom over powering smell of paint and unable to open window. Bathroom overpowering chlorine smell and no window. Kitchen stifling hot unless door propped open. Heavy doors closing off all rooms. Need instructions on ensuring heater works AND hot water is available. No lift. Entrance to second lot of apartments is .... not good enough
Good clean and central for all the things I had to do.
Lack of parking for residence ended up geting a ticket for being 15mins over in a 2hr spot.
