The Pub itself was very well appointed and the breakfast was good. The photo's on your website are misleading. The double room shown must be a special as the room we stayed in was small, badly lit and nothing like the photograph. The shower room needed a good clean and the bedspread had stains on it. The door to the room helped me to scrape off my unwanted skin which usually covers my knuckles every time I opened it.

Convenient for East Midlands airport & added excellent value & comfort instead of using a over-priced airport hotel. Welcoming staff & good food made a business trip more enjoyable for a single traveller. Will return either for a business or pleasure trip.

The Hardinge Arms in its period setting and reasonable rates provided a completely different experience from the travel inns for a short stay. The accommodation arranged around 6 rooms with ensuites in a converted stable/coach house was very comfortable and clean and the food menu in the pub/restaurant offered a good choice and proved enjoyable. The staff were friendly and efficient.

Absolutely superb from start to finish ! Staff very friendly, room very cosy and relaxing. The bathroom was very big, the toilet was in a separate room within the bathroom. Freeview channels to watch, the bed was very comfy. The food in the restaurant was exceptional, so nicely presented couldn't tuck in straight away, just savoured the presentation. It was all a real treat for us and we felt thoroughly spoiled and relaxed at the end of our stay. Would definately stay again. Set in a little village but close enough for local attractions, airport, racetrack, shopping. Only downside, not much power to the shower. But this would not deter us from staying again.

Staff very welcoming and friendly. Room good and very clean. reasonable facilities in the room. food excellent - breakfast freshly cooked to order, extensive menu in the restaurant, decent wines and couple of good beers. restaurant meals were different from the "pub" norm and very well presented. Good overall value.

The Hardinge Arms is exceptional with comfortable and stylish rooms which were comfortable and cosy. There were beautiful soaps/shampoos/shower gels in the bathroom and the food was excellent. The breakfast second to none - it was possibly the best breakfast I've ever had! The tea was the best I've every had. Will definitely be staying there again.

Very welcoming staff. Great full English breakfast. The room was a little tatty but the owner informed me that they are looking to completely redo the rooms. Great value for a country break / wedding located near the airport. Fully recommend . The staff, restaurant and location.
