The staff were friendly and very polite. Food excellent but pricey.
Noisy entertainment on till 12:30am, drunk guests talking on a landing and when politely asked to be quiet told that I was being rude. Drinks very expensive £6 for a glass of house wine which was a cheap red italian wine. This restaurant caters for the wealthy, so if you're looking for a good value place, this isn't for you. When I complained about noise, I was told it wouldn't last much longer, that longer become 1 hour extra. No offer to compensate or move me to a quieter room.
War, cosy & friendly
wifi connection was really good room was spacious and comfortable plenty of parking space
When other guests decided to have an all night party and refuse requests to stop there was no one on site to enforce the request.
I had no sleep due to other inconsiderate guests staying at the hotel. As the management don't stay on site there was no way of sorting this out. Others tried but were laughed at. Shocking experience.
on arrival we we're surprised to find the hotel incorporated the Belaggio Restaurant Italiano, we had rung ahead to check on meal times, but we're no wiser, the aromas and atmosphere proved enough to draw us down to enjoy a superb meal
no cooked breakfast option (didn't have any breakfast as meal from night before made breakfast redundant)
Although I did have a few reservations booking this hotel due to the price, I couldnt have been more pleased. Excellent stay.
Some general updating required in places but considering the amount I paid per night it was nothing that would not make me stay again.
Excellent Italian restaurant at the hotel, it would be nice if they offered a discount if you were a resident. Rooms were very comfortable, Continental breakfast was good value at £4:99
The meal cost more than the hotel
Location Car Park Accomodation Clean Helpfull Staff
Drinks expensive in bar at night
Very good room for the money.
It wasnt possible to close the bathroom door. Alot of noice from other rooms.
Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and the location was excellent. The bed was HUGE and very comfortable. I thought the hotel had a lovely vibe and feel to it.
Bathroom is far too small and not much space to move or store items but was ok as only there one night. No lift which can be a bother with lots of luggage but that's not a major problem.
It was very clean and great value for money. The food at the Belagio was fantastic and the service was great. We hadn't pre booked but with a full restaurant, the staff pulled out all the stops to ensure we dined there.
Rooms were a bit hot.
It is in a great location with black country museum only a couple of miles away. Also, the Dartmouth park and Sandwell country park have lots going on and are well worth a visit. The hotel is extremely well priced, restaurant below the hotel is lovely, great tasting food and not bad value either, a great little place to stop for a weekend. Would definitely recommend it.
Can be a bit warm in the room without opening a window.
The hotel is clean and comfortable within easy reach of birmingham city. The staff are friendly and the hotel sits above an italian restaurant. Although we didnt eat in the restaurant the restaurant looked beautiful and the smell of the food carries upstairs (not in a bad way in a it makes you hungry way). There is plenty of parking and in the summer u can see it would hav really nice garden. Nothing to complain about. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to others.
The towel rail has a sign saying it gets hot but it stays on all day and if u touch it u will get burnt(as we did wen we reached for the towel..)
Dodgy loose tap in Room4!
Service and friendly staff
being asked for a tip in the dining room
Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was comfortable and had every facility that I needed. Everything was fine.
Nothing to dislike
We arrived expecting very basic provision for the £29 price tag. What we got was an immaculate and well furnished room with a good en-suite. Excellent value for money. We would stay again!
Very comfy bed and good shower en suite.
Very hot above kitchen could benefit from a fan when there is warm weather.
The accessibility, parking, the price.
Couldn't get an iron, carpets could have been cleaner, toilet roll holder was broken.
The hotel staff were very friendly and the italian restaurant below is the best I have ever been to. Food and service were excellent.
Only continental breakfast available. Our room was located above the kitchen and the extractor pipe ran up the wall outside our window. It was extremely noisy but went off before midnight.
Everything rooms clean spacious big beds our 3rd stay in the hotel
Closeness to the venue we were attending. Staff were pleasant. The price for each room was very good.
Carpet was stained in the bedrooms. there was black on the tile grout in the shower. The shower door did not close properly. When showering, the water kept going hot and cold. The room I stayed in was next to the stairs so the door was banging til late at night, other guests coming in and out. Air conditioning unit for the resteraunt was outside the window and was noisey til past 11pm. There was not much selection for breakfast, therefore we only had a cup of tea.
