Staff very friendly breakfast very good
unbelievable loud loud music from the bar..until 4 am!! Sleep not possible.
The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was lovely
Room was a bit shabby we stayed in room 2 the tree blocked the window and the curtains were hanging off the rail bedside table had coffee stains on which came off with a quick wipe
Got a little drunk and fell asleep somewhere but was helped to the room by staff prob had a right laugh but all in all was good cheers and it does exactly wat it says on the tin so people that complian and moan do one !!
Location to university cheap and clean. Stayed for 4 weeks whilst studying to further my career .
Nothing to dislike
Proximity to where I needed to be Low cost Clean comfy bed
Room a bit like a cell Noise from club in bar
Basic room with everything you need. Clean and could not hear the other residents
A bit of noise from downstairs, but its to be expected as they have club nights on.
Super rooms with super prices burgers stacked tall and delicious super freindly helpful staff and a great breakfast to soaker you up
Nice burgers, location ok, Rooms clean
I stayed in a twin room and both bed mattresses had seen better days. It felt like I was sleeping in a hammock. It is now time to get some new ones.
The staff are very friendly and very helpful. Our room was on the second floor and was surprisingly quiet and we had a great sleep. The breakfast was excellent and was included in the price (which was very reasonable). The hotel is very central to everything in Sheffield and we were able to walk to the University, train station and shops (even though buses and trams stop just a few moments walk away).
The Harley could do with a facelift as it is a bit tired - broken tiles in the bathroom, carpet a bit threadbare and no wardrobe in the room to hang up clothes. Needs some TLC.
liked the staff, very accommodating. Rooms - comfortable and adequate breakfast - fine
the noise in the street of the people at the hotel's nightclub, but we did know it may be so.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was super too and I was surprised by how big the room was. The price for one night with breakfast was fantastic.
The late hours.
Vibrations in room more severe than the disco noise.
Internet didn't work at all in the room and was very slow in the bar.
Helpful staff. Great breakfast included Central to the town.
There was a noisy group of people in the street in the early hours of the morning that disturbed our sleep but I'm sure that does not occur every night we were probably just unlucky.
Everything about this hotel was very very poor
There is a small TV on the table and there is Bar under my staying.
A little noisy.
Location and staff were good.
Room was very old. Toilet does not have door. Sunday evening was too noisy because of the bar in the ground floor but monday and tuesday i did not hear any noise.
Food very good Staff helpful
Very noisey People outside til 4am
What I liked is a size of a room. A little lounge in a room and spaciousness of a place reminded me a studioflat.
To start with is a fact that the hotel doesn't have a car park and there is no secure park around the area. When I asked a men at the desk about secure parking the just coldly answered 'I don't drive so I don't know. On the top of that, and what I think is a crucial thing, a bed in a room was broken. I was trying to sleep in a bed with my bottom nearly touching a flour laying in V shape. Never anding loud music from a bar just underneath me and all mentioned above made my stay terrible.
Friendly staff, great location for university, great bar and food
Window didn't close fully so you could hear the traffic, but didn't really bother me as I'm a heavy sleeper.
It's location close to Sheffield University and the Heart of Sheffield. The hard working girls who had to service all the rooms. It's cheap.
The internet warns that the Harley is noisy until 04:00 a.m. Very noisy. Rooms poor. Windows are sash windows that don't open and close properly. One tiny round bar of soap provided for stay, regardless of number of days, no shampoo. Kettle in my room never boiled water, even after an six hours. Complaints to staff had no effect, I was stuck with non-functioning appliance. Tv had no channels 2,3,4,5. Try as I might I never got them. Mould in shower, although the shower worked statisfactorily. Breakfast quality very low. Tables too high for the chairs. Overworked staff struggled with the no. oif customers. Nobody on the reception desk most of the time. It's more like student lodgings than a hotel. Bar ver expensive.
Big room, lovely and light, nice beds, friendly staff, close to venue, nice cooked breakfast, great value for money.Parked right outside, very reasonably all day.
Noise. We were at the front of the hotel above the bar and the pounding went on until 4am.
Most things: Location - cheaper than city centre but easy cycle ride to the centre. Purpose of visit was two cycling conferences. Staff VERY quickly fitted a replacement TV in room (essential!) and provided a tea cup in the room. Good breakfast. Was on the 3rd floor so loud live music in bar on some nights (not all) not a problem.
No on-premises car parking BUT adequate on-street parking outside hotel which could be paid by coin or mobile phone (£5 a day 8am to 8:30pm). Hot water tap in bathroom very stiff. Window could only be opened a few inches.
the room was clean and fairly comfortable
deafening music until 3am prevented me sleeping. I had to leave at 8.15 in the morning and breakfast didn't start until 9. The staff wouldn't even make me a coffee!
