The Harlyn Inn  

Location right on the beach was great - plus the closeness to Padstow and the numerous shops and restaurants there.

Room was ok and clean

The place was in poor condition in decor and not very clean, room was clean but very small, the bed had no support, the coffee at breakfast had been reheated and the food was not of a good quality, the staff dressed as if they had just come of the beech and didn't have much sense of urgency

Mostly the flexibility and friendliness of the staff, comfortable bed, civilised breakfast times, comfortable room with all the necessary facilities (kettle etc) and windows that actually open, easy car parking and a situation right by one of the prettiest coves. All in all we were very satisfied with our stay. Huge English breakfast!

Friendly, professional young staff. Great breakfast.

Check in at the bar and long trek to the room. Shower very poor and our room was very close to the extractor fan of kitchen which was very noisy.

We found the room whilst very pleasant far too hot and stuffy. We did enjoy our stay and thanks to all the lovely staff, we think the dog liked it to.

The breakfast could have been better, i don't eat meat and found the mushroom's tasteless and the toast anaemic, but my husband enjoyed his full english.

Location is amazing - just a stone's throw from stunning beach and short drive from other amazing bays, first class restaurants and other amenities.

It was Saturday evening . Noice ( reasonnable ) of dancing until midnight .Breakfast is normally not avalaible before 8 H 30 : that's very late . But staff is very flexible .

The full English breakfast was fantastic. We also like the cleanliness of the bathroom. Whatever we needed to do there (use the toilet and car park even after check outs as well as getting someone to open the door because we left the key inside), we got to do them. And most importantly, it is really near the beach where we were suppose to surf.

The room we stayed was facing the first floor balcony which means we could hear people walking along and talking. Could do with some air conditioning as the weekend was really hot.

The location of the Harlyn Inn was a factor why we stayed and we was not disapointed with what the Harlyn Inn had to offer while we stayed, live music, clean and tidy room and good food.

The staff had an extremely good attitude, their customer service was excellent, Three cheers for good staff training, it was relaxed, not deferential and very welcoming. Rooms clean and well equipped, breakfast was exceptional, with as many products as possible locally sourced. The exterior of the hotel was looking scruffy, but clean.

It was great access for the beach and the cliff walks, the area is beautiful and not commercialised. .All good, but wouldn't want to stay there in the height of the season, would imagine it could be noisy.

Relaxed laid back staff, location

Outside bar area left with glasses out all night, dirty glasses and mess greeted you when going for breakfast. A little bit run down we felt.

The room was very comfortable clean and stylish. Breakfast was 8:30 till 10:30, however we had to be at a golf competition earlier and there was no problem with them opening up the dining room early to accomodate us.Staff were all very helpful. We have stayed there before and I had no hesitation in choosing it again. Also its in a lovely location.
