Set in attractive gardens, The Havelock offers a Mediterranean-style pool and en suite rooms, many with sea views. There is free private parking, and the seafront is close by. Each stylish bedroom has digital TV with Freeview channels and tea/coffee facilities, and most of the rooms have free Wi-Fi. A full English breakfast is provided using fresh local produce where possible. Vegetarian and gluten-free breakfasts are available daily. The bar serves hot beverages throughout the day, and homemade snacks are available. There is an outdoor terrace with seating, and the secluded swimming pool is heated from mid May to mid September. everything about the mini break Friendly host Friendly staff and a very clean and value for money hotel No lift but its only because we have mobility problems If you don't have these problems it doesn't affect you.

We stayed in room 17 which still had a sea view despite being at the side of the hotel. Nicely decorated and clean. Breakfast choice, quality and service very good. Nothing.

Staff very friendly and welcoming food was awesome especially home made bread. Owner Dave was very welcoming as was the rest of his staff. We would definitely stay here again Not being able to get a cold drink at night need vending machine for after hours

Friendly staff (=friendly welcome), and hotel well-placed between the beach and the centre of Shanklin (2 minutes in either direction). Excellent facilities, first-rate breakfast and everything in the hotel spotlessly clean. For the price - highly recommended. No complaints.

Very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Nice toiletries in the en-suite. Very good, freshly cooked breakfast and buffet style cereal, bread, home made jams. 5 mins walk into Shanklin town. Nothing springs to mind

Rooms were excellent. Great location. Friendly staff/owners. Breakfast was only served for an hour and not early enough for me as was leaving before that time. Pool could of been opened and wasnt warned it wasn't.

friendly staff, comfortable room with sea view no heating in bathroom, it was very cold when showering. Would have been a nice touch to have some buiscuts in the room.

On your step inside the first thing you experience is a wide smiley face, that makes a lot of comfort and happiness to anyone going to stay at Havelock. Ours was B&B and the food was really great with a very helpful and friendly staff. Very clean, nice and tidy rooms. I would definitely go again to stay if I am back to Isle of Wight. Nothing to complain all really was good, but lots of stairs and ups and downs to go to the room only on the first floor. Also the boarders on next room was really noisy until 1am. Couldn't sleep until they went to sleep ! I don't think there was much the owners can do to keep them quite, so no negative side for he hotel and its owners.

The owners were very nice and made you feel welcome. The hotel was nice and the breakfast was very good. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

The hotel was abolutley fabulous!! Staff were extremly friendly and accomdating, the room was very nice (especially the comfortable bed!!) Would reccommend this to anyone who woould lik a weekend/week break in IOW
