Good value for money hotel in good location.
Lovely room with very friendly and helpful staff. Very reasonably priced.
Lovely clean hotel. Great friendly welcome. Large airy room and fabulous breakfast. We never heard a peep out of any of the other guests too! Perfect! Would definitely recommend and stay again.
Breakfast was 8.30-9.15! Would have been better if we could have had a little lay in and eat up till 10am instead esp as this was a relaxing wk end away!
Excellent hotel we will be back absolutely spotless hot hot shower loved it '
The staff were really friendly and the hotel itself was clean and tidy. The owners were open with advice as to what to see in the local area and the bar was a nice area to relax in the evening. The breakfasts were excellent and a great start to the day. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Scarboro area.
handy position,clean and tidy,nice people,good food,very helpful,tea & coffee in room.plenty of parking.
small rooms,no lift,kettle needs changing
Very welcoming owner. Quiet Family room. Lovely breakfast. Lounge with bar and TV for guests to relax in.
Thin blind in bathroom, creating a lack of privacy. Duvet tog to high for our liking.
nice staff,good food,clean rooms, very good hotel.+bar,
All of the experience.
The only fault if you could call it a fault was an extra double socket in the room would have made a difference to our stay,as you have to unplug the kettle to charge your phone,or laptop or any electronic gizmo . and an extra shelf in the bathroom beneficial, otherwise everything else was great.
Good location Accommodating friendly staff
Cooked breakfast only available at set time, even though we paid for b&b and we had to leave early, that said our host did provide toast and cereals, which was thoughtful.
Nice Quite Area / Breakfast
Distance away from centre of Town
Large rooms Friendly staff
Friendly staff Location Cleanliness of rooms Breakfast
The Headlands was a really pretty B&B ,the owners and staff were very welcoming and helpfull. Room and the rest of the premises were very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Would recommend staying there to anyone thinking of going to Scarbourough.
Only two slight problems , we had trouble getting the shower to stay at a constant heat , it was either very hot or very cold . The noise from the people above us on our second evening was very bad. , loud snoring and thumping of feet ,not something that can be fixed I suppose .
Had it's own bar. Breakfast was very good.
Room was a bit small. Had to get the bus into the town centre.
Great location to Peasholme Park and the North Bay. Good quality décor with all furnishings and fittings being in good condition and really clean Friendly owners Bar!
Excellent breakfast, well cooked hot food to order. Comfortable room. Off street parking in a busy area. Large lounge for socialising with other members of our party.
Nowhere in the vicinity to eat evening meal. Location not suitable for the unfit! Hotel at the top of very steep hill plus two flights of stairs to our room on top floor.
Excellent location Comfy bed Excellent breakfast
Decor somewhat dated Advertised rate much more expensive than on hotel's own website
Clean, warm and friendly. Very spacious room for a family of 5. Ideally located for Peasholm park, and the North bay.
Location, staff, breakfast
Parking was a bit small and street parking got quite full very early.
Great stay very friendly and a great breakfast, can't fault it.
Everything about the Headlands was lovely, the hosts Dave n Jill and the rest of the staff were really helpful.
Location was great as it was close to all landmarks, bays, and near town. Parking very available. Breakfast options were good and filling. Dave was a great help with local knowledge.
Shower was on the small side, and shower could have been more powerful and consistent with temperature. Also milks, coffees replenishment and cleaning withing our room could have been more often.
Good location and nice accomadation.
The owners were not family or disability friendly at all. On one evening my daughter aged 3 pressed the bell for attention in the bar area. She only pressed the bell once. The owner Dave came and served us at the bar. His leaving comment was please don't press the bell unless you want anything I get very annoyed. I wouldn't have minded but my child pressed the bell once and we did actually want something. My son who has Autism was also with us and at times became excited. His behaviour was controlled and managed. Dave was informed of Harry's condition and did not acknowledge what I had said. The following day the female owner was made aware we was made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome by her husband and the responce was ok. Appalling customer service. Throughout the stay I was made to feel like we were looked down on. Would definitely avoid if you have children .
