The Headlands Hotel is located in the heart of Scarborough's beautiful North Bay looking across towards Scarborough Castle and has a wide range of spotlessly clean rooms available, all of which are en-suite and have breakfast included in the rate. Breakfast is served in our bright and spacious dining room using fresh local produce and we also have a fully licensed bar that is open every evening serving drinks and food. We are a family friendly hotel and have two recently refurbished Family Rooms available that sleep up to 5 people (max 2 adults) in addition to our range of Standard and Superior Twin and Double Room options. Superior and Family Rooms are located at the front of the building and have views across to the castle headland and sea. All our rooms are going through a refurbishment program that will see all 13 rooms updated and refreshed by April 2022. Parking is not an issue, we have a small car park onsite and all the on street parking around the hotel is free of charge. It's just a five minute walk from the hotel to the North Bay Beach, Peasholm Park, Scarborough Open Air Theater and Alpamare Water Park and there are bars and restaurants close by. The town center and South Bay beach are both within easy reach of the hotel.

Steve & Karen Ritchie are the new owners of The Headlands Hotel and are both from Scarborough and have given up their previous jobs to run a hotel in their beloved hometown. Steve previously worked in IT Project Delivery and Karen worked in Customer Service.

The Headlands is a detached fully licensed establishment located in an enviable position overlooking the North Bay and Scarborough Castle. As resident proprietors we take great pleasure in offering all our guests quality accommodation, a warm welcome and an informal friendly atmosphere. Attention to detail, especially when it comes to cleanliness is paramount in ensuring your visit will be as comfortable as possible. Wireless Internet connection is available throughout premises including the bedrooms free of charge. We can offer a selection of twin, double or family rooms, all are decorated to a high standard, we are particularly proud of or superior rooms which benefit from spectacular sea and castle views. All guest rooms have en-suite facilities and have flatsceen televisions with Freeview, tea & coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries and hairdryers, along with controllable heating and double glazing for your comfort. Iron and ironing boards are available upon request. We have a small free car park and there is ample free parking right outside the property. The Headlands is located in a perfect location in a quiet residential area on Scarborough's favoured North side, far enough away from any noise but close enough to be within easy reach of all the local attractions and amenities. We are a five minute walk to the blue flag accredited North Bay beach, The Open Air Theatre, Alpamare Water Park and the famous Peasholm Park. It is a 20 minute walk into town which has many and varied shops and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.
