the staff were very friendly, the meals were very varied and good quality
could have had a bit more entertaining
great staff good breakfast easy access to tram but far enough away to be quiet at night
we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay, its in close range to everything we went for, basically everything on our door step, with a lovely hotel with friendly staff on hand, as a young couple, we loved every minute of our stay at The Headland and will be returning.
Peaceful area despite being on a main road.Ask for a room at the rear of the hotel to have a good undisturbed nights sleep..
Nothing to dislke really, good value for money all round.
food location staff
toilet not working properly taps wouldn't switch off
friendly staff good value great breakfast
hotels next to headlands shut and need tidying up
In a quiet area. Helpful and cheery staff. Handy for tram. Near terminus so always get a seat. Very clean. Breakfast was delicious and piping hot.
Area surrounding hotel is very run down. Adjoining buildings are empty and one has had a serious fire. No shop within walking distance eg to get newspaper or snacks. Entrance to hotel very uneven. I fell one evening due to potholes. Ancient lift. Booked 2 single rooms. Was given 1 small double and 1 very small single. Very steep stairs.
Love the location, away from the noise. Allows you to enjoy the sights and sounds but escape when you need to. Great staff. Very child friendly. Good food. Wifi, a must these days. Free parking onside.
Only minus was dirty windows but we were in a family room at top of hotel so how you would get to those windows is beyond me.
Staff were brilliant coundnt do enough for us. Good value for money food was great hotel was very clean through out. Would book The Headlands again.
They were able to provide gluten free toast and sausages with breakfast for my son. Also the staff were happy to let us use the drying room when we arrived back soaked from the rain! Free parking available. Short walk to Pleasure Beach entrance.

Wide choice at breakfast Good choice of evening meal menu Plenty of power points in bedroom
Couldn't adjust temperature in the room Bath towels on the small side No extractor fan or opening window in the bathroom Poor choice of ales in the bar
Good parking and nice food good area easy to the centre

It was a great hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and breakfast was lovely
Helpful friendly staff, lovely breakfast, clean room, free parking.
Rooms were quite dated.
I still like the fact that still a walking distance to pleasure beach.
I travelled with my family and friends so I decided to book a 3 bedrooms and we are all disappointed to the poor state of the rooms and facilities. The single room seems ok apart from the broken connection of the shower head which resolved after we make a complaint. The other family room seems quite noisy due to the gusty wind from the promenade and made worst because of the leak from one of the windows. The room wasn't big enough for 3 persons and the lack of pressure of the shower especially I think when lots of guests using the toilet but the worst room was the one I used with my wife and kids. The first night, me my wife didn't get enough rest and sleep even we were so tired from our travel and play at the sandcastle water park due to the noise caused by the blowing wind from the promenade going inside through the leakage from all the windows and the second night, the condition got worst because of the poor weather adverse and we decided to ask to be moved into a different family room. The room was a lot better and quite so we decided to start preparing for bed until we found out that the sheets of the beddings and mattresses hasn't been cleaned and replaced yet by evidence of some hair strands and my daughter still found a pair of old pyjamas under the pillow of her bed most likely from the previous guest. The receptionist was still denying that the room hasn't properly clean yet and only convinced when I mentioned about the clothing that we found. The bins hasn't emptied, used soups and dirty mugs still left inside the room. Really disgusting!
Sometimes a hotel has a smell when you walk in but not headlands; that was the first thing i liked. The place was clean and tidy too and comfy. Best of all I thought was the atmosphere! Really friendly people...most were a bit older than I am I guess but there was a great feel to the whole experience....I would move it further North and go there every year if I could lol Great value for money too though so that paid for the taxis lol
I only have two things to mention. It was miles from the North peir where the night action is so tram ok there but needed taxis back . And i couldnt get a signal on the internet from my room but sat in the lounge with a pint; lovely quiet atmosphere in there too.
very good artists during the two shows we watched and food excellent good value for money
hotel a bit dated especially upstairs access
on arrival at the Headlands the staff were very helpful and friendly the bedroom was very comfortable and a large en-suite bathroom and the food was lovely with a good choice of menu the waiting on staff excellent
the position of the hotel was a way out from centre of Blackpool
Nice hotel with excellent staff that are not only very efficient but will do anything possible to ensure you have the very best stay possible. The free darts and snooker table in the games room – excellent (other games are available). Bar very friendly, and welcoming. Good food on offer in spacious dining room - you do have to make your booking early so it is important to programme your day first. Bus stop and tram service easily accessible (7 tram stops up to the tower). Will definitely be returning to enjoy the ambiance, although it should be pointed out this is not a young trendy hotel and is better suited to the more mature person.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The amenities are acceptable.
Some renovation is required and facilities need updating.
closeness to pleasure beach restaurant was really nice staff were friendly and helpful room was spacious if basic
the lift smelled of burnt timber. room was very basic decor
Bed very comfortable Sea view Excellent breakfast Very efficent and friendly staff
Shower was a bit small Location a bit far out from centre
I was going to stay there as it is fairly close to airport
I had to cancel as was not required on the job i was going for .Still have not been refunded my money even though i was told i would be by the Headlands hotel .Poor and wont be staying there and would advise no offshore guys to either as they will keep your money
It was close to the fair and had a nice view of the beach from my room.
There was stains on the bed sheets. The latch on the window was broken and wouldn't close properly. Very old fashioned inside
