Worst posies experience I ever had
Good location Nice towels Friendly staff
near the town
sea view excelent and food excelent, eat in hotel every night.
under sheet to small for mattres
Breakfast was brilliant with plenty of choice. Staff were polite and service was efficient. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and good en-suite.
The floors above our room need sound proofing as we were disturbed during the night (after 1am) with some people snoring others talking loudly and being thoughtlessly heavy footed while moving around.
room bar breakfast friendly staff
nothing not to like
Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room and excellent breakfast.
This hotel was advertised on the website as having access to a spa and pool. This was an important reason why we made a booking for 5 at this hotel only to find it was unavailable for 3 months. We were all very disappointed and felt we had been duped by the advert
I arrived late at 11:00P.M. However the staff still served me. That makes me feel like home. Also I was allocated to a large room with sea view. It is one of greatest room I have stayed in UK for past 5 years
A bit noise in the neiboughhood in the morning.
Central for our needs.
Noise from other guests from floor above and room next door at 1-00 am.
The location was good for a short walk to the marina and shops,
Unfortunately when we stayed there was some kind of dispute with the people who manage the health club so this part was closed, even though we booked it for the health club deal we still had a good time there.
Room with sea view Breakfast with lots of choice Very clean shower room Car parking Easy walk to town
Carpet stained in places Dressing table & small table tops damaged
room we had was quite spacious and clean could just see the sea from one of the chairs
room was right next to disco and bar etc so very loud at night lucky it was a sunday night we chose to stay so did not go on longer than 12 pm
The location of this hotel is excellent and within walking distance of main attractions and the pier. Staff is very welcoming, waiters are excellent and quick to turn around with your food orders.
Rooms 24-26, situated outside the main building are the worst I've ever seen. Seems to be converted from a shop or something similar, definitely not meant for staying in them overnight. Main bad points: - insufficient heating, most I've had in the room was around 14-16 Celsius - no heating in shower room - hot water takes ages to get to the room - poor door insulation - noise from above as room is situated under open space seating area
the location and the fantastic views across the bay
The hill it is built on
Helpfull staff good facilities , clean and comfy .
Breakfast was great Staff were fab Great value for money Great location
Only downfall: shower went cold after a while
Very central location. Staff very helpful I asked if our room had a seaview and he said no but managed to change the room immediately. Breakfast was excellent.
It was a pity the pool and leisure facilities were closed for renovation, we had been looking forward to using the pool. There were stains on the carpet but then we had asked to change to a room with a view.
The food was outstanding service was excellent and the bar and pool table facilities were remarkable there was so much to do and a good selection to eat we ended staying in for food and drinks, value for money brilliant!!
Nothing everything was perfect!!
Location, breakfast, friendliness of staff, room view
Pillows too hard
Location, food and overall price.
Location brilliant. We stayed in room 20 with huge bay window giving amazing views. Huge room, brilliant size shower room (newly refurbished) Good breakfast and plenty of it.
Room was above the bar although we had asked for a quiet room. This did not bother us on the first night which was a Sunday but, Monday night there was lots of noise late into the night and we were woken early Tuesday morning at 6am with a huge bang from somewhere within the building. At breakfast both mornings there was a group of rather untidy workmen who were loud. Overall stay was goods would not return in summer months due to parking issues (the car park is used by general public at all times) and would probably be really busy with even more noise and even worse parking issues.
friendly welcoming atmosphere.
whats there not to like.
Lack of Internet, was told this was only available in certain locations. This is not shown clearly on their website. Was difficult to get hold of staff. Reception often closed. Once forced to pay up front, before even seeing your room. Attitude was well this is it, so either go somewhere else or lump it. Felt I could not go into the bathroom or bedroom without wearing something on my feet. Trying not to touch anything as was unclean. Once again staff not available to complain.
Decor. Bar noise.
Location, Friendly staff,
Late music, To many tv on at the same time, Noisy people in the next room, and the carpet needs a good clean and the whole room could do with a complete redecoration. Our tv did not work.
