Everything, nothing to complain about apart from bed lights to close to your head.
Nothing, everything spot on.
Cosy room with en-suite. Had everything you could possibly need; tea & coffee making, toiletries, tissues etc. Delicious breakfast, friendly owners.
TV in room quite small, but downstairs was a lovely comfortable guest's lounge with big TV, so not really a problem at all!! Couldn't really fault it.
Lovely owners, great breakfast, comfy rooms, decent Wi-Fi and close to a great real ale pub!
Location, host, accommodation.
The room was cosy. The hosts could not do enough for us. We loved the attention to detail. Plenty of choice for breakfast.
Can't think of a thing.
Location is close driving distance to Windermere Lake & for the avid walker a reasonable walk down. Local pub across the road with good food. B&B is clean and run by the friendliest and helpful couple. Breakfast was amazing every morning and cooked to individual taste. Look out for the daily special as often beat the full English hands down. We absolutely loved the packed lunches which are so reasonably priced and really fulling, perfect for walking all day.
Nothing, it was a beautiful B&B that I would highly recommend!
The helpfulness and friendliness of the owners, the comfortable room, the excellent quality and choice of breakfasts, the attention to detail.
Nothing to dislike
peace and quiet lovely couple lovely garden
not being able to stay longer
The welcome, the beautiful garden, the comfortable rooms and beds, the overall cleanliness and our breakfast was tasty and very wholesome. So altogether we enjoyed The Hill very much indeed and would return if ever we needed to be in the Windermere area.
There was nothing to dislike!
Quality of bed , pillows and linen we're absolutely fabulous. Lounge furniture and fittings were of a high quality and a pleasant to sit it.
The noise from the busy main road. The front garden was wonderful but the traffic noise made it impossible to sit out and enjoy.
The Hill is well maintained with personal care. Owners kept it very clean, decor very homely. Lovely breakfast and very friendly, comfortable environment. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Great hostess. Great food and good value for money. Location very good, easy to reach main areas.
Very clean Great food Lovely service and environment Comfy beds No problems with facilities Offer plenty of helpful advice and recommendations
The Garden The Food was exceptional The Décor was very tasteful The hosts were helpful and friendly
NOTHING - To us everything was perfect
The place had a real luxurious feel to it. The owner is lovely and gives the place a real personal touch.
Our room and bathroom was very small. Location is very convenient to get to (just off the main A road), but it's quite a distance from the nearest town.
Very pretty and well appointed room with a good shower-room. Great pub with excellent food nearby.
Very comfortable base for exploring The Lakes. Excellent hosting, breakfast etc. Would definitely make a return visit.
We had a wonderful and memorable time staying here. Our host, Jo-Anne & Gerry, is a very friendly and helpful couple. The rooms and environment is very pleasant. Each individual rooms were decorated according to the theme. They make a lot of effort to decorate the place and rooms in details until the color of toilet papers matches the room theme. The breakfast is served generously. We enjoyed our daily English breakfast.
Small entrance. Difficult to locate during the night.
We were made to feel very welcome from the start. Room was very clean and comfortable overlooking the lovely front garden. The back garden is lovely to relax in too. Breakfast couldn't have been any better with lots to choose from. I travelled with my 21 year old daughter so the ipod dock in the room was most welcome. All in all it was pretty much perfect thanks to Anne and Gerry.
Lovely countryside for evening walk Delicious breakfast Charming hosts
Good location, good breakfast, and a nice lady running the place
Lovely welcome Awesome breakfast Eco toiletries in bathroom were fab
one of the best b & b,s I have stayed in. Perfect hosts. Lovely room. Super breakfast.
It is the best B&B I've ever stayed in the UK. The landlady, Jo-Anne, gave me much information about the Lake District. She tried to get me talking so I think my English speaking improved there. The bed in the room was the size of my place in Seoul. Room was beautiful and ensuite. Most things-tea bags, shampoo, perfume, etc,.were made in the Lake District. Handbaked cookies were nice. Had many choices of breakfast and the breakfast was the most delicious among UK foods, according to my tongue. Easily accesed by bus from Lake District cities.
Absolutly nothing. Even the weather was good. Definitely will visit again.
