Lovely Georgian house which is a 20 minute walk into Bath benefiting from private parking and a beautiful garden. We stayed in the Indian room which was full of items collected in our hosts' travels. The breakfasts were superb enjoyed at a communal table with "proper" tea from silver teapots. A thoughtful touch was the Radio Times in each room if you had time to watch.T.V The Hollies proved to be in an ideal situation to visit Bath and the surrounding countryside and was near a bus route which meant that if you didn't feel like walking uphill on your return to The Hollies a bus or taxi would be on hand. Friendly hosts with a beautiful cat called Amber Shower pressure wasn't always too high - but didn't cause any problems

Room was comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Location is close to the City but a good climb up the hill on the way home, however a good bus service is available. City of Bath is just amazing!!! Room was a bit small as we were in the middle of a two month holiday and had a fair bit of luggage. The shower pressure was a bit on the low side.

Good-sized room and bathroom with plenty of towel rails. Good choice of breakfast; home-made preserves. Friendly & informative owners. Interesting library and furniture. Ability to come and go freely. No children. Blankets and sheets, not duvets, although realise duvets wouldn't fit in with antique furniture. Close proximity to main A road; traffic noise from bedroom.

David and Joe are very friendly, the rooms are all very individual with a story to tell and things to find. The library is fascinating and so are the letters, RSVPs and pictures on the walls. I really enjoyed that breakfast is served on a single large table so all guests get to interact together while dining. Very highly recommended with great views of the city and a beautiful "secret garden" element. nothing
