Score from 165 reviews Very good
Friendly, warm atmosphere, good food.
No mobile phone connection
Food, friendliness and cleanliness excellent. I felt like a part of the family. A really lovely two nights.
The shower in my room was just a little on the small side. I don't think my husband would have been able to use it!
Good food, good beer, good staff. Try the welsh breakfast good as it gets.
top notch as before
This family run hotel in a quiet village 4 miles from Carmarthen is a great place to relax. The family are very relaxed and friendly and provide old world customer service. The restaurant offers great food. We'll be back.
The shower cubicle in our room was a standard size which is a bit small if you drop the soap! Think phone box in terms of size. But everything else was just right.
Clean and comfortable rooms
Proximity to busy road which disturbed sleep up to 12.30am and from 6.30am
staff very friendly and helpful. good dinner and breakfast and very good room.
Enthusiastic landlord, engaging, amusing. Very clean, Good pub - excellent food
room, food, staff, beds, shower
Comfortable, clean and owners friendly. Bedrooms reasonable size , slept well. Very good breakfast.
The choice of breakfast
Staff were friendly, room was spacious and very clean.
Small (double) bed and small shower given the size of the bathroom.
The Hollybrook is a family run inn which offers lots of hospitality and good home cooked food.
Great location for a base for Carmarthenshire and S. Wales. Great staff, good food, real ale, great time.
We stayed in room 1 and it was very clean and comfortable but best of all very quite.
There was nothing we didn't like.
Friendly, nice people. The best customer focus I have received for a long time. Thank You.
Restaurant and staff.
Road noise if windows open
The food was always good, we all (8 of us) ate together with no complaints. Not easy to do. Very accommodating and would use them again.
Minor thing but as this is the only pub in the village and because it is out of town you have little choice. So if you want peace its great.
Ray was amazing. We arrived late but they made sure we had an awesome dinner and enjoyed a few pints. The rooms were better than expected. As was the hospitality. Anyone who stays here must have a ping with Ray!
The B&B was very hard to find. The establishment is on the outskirts of pathetic city....The GPS could not even find it. We lucked out and found a local that knew where it was.
Very good food and variety. Very friendly staff.
Friendly staff, great food, clean comfortable rooms.
This is a true family business of the highest standard and most friendly approach that you could ask for. The rooms are immaculate with a homely feeling. The food is good and wholesome and the service is happy and friendly - what more could you ever want?
There is nothing to dislike
It was in a lovely place nice friendly people who made us welcome. The floor in reception was a bit slippery when feet were wet from out side we both nearly sloped. But other than that a great ace to stay and would recommend it to anyone. We have already told friends how great it was. The food was outstanding
Clean, comfortable and great breakfast
The room was clean, comfortable and roomy . The location quiet. Restaurant was good value and served good and ample food. The staff were efficient, hardworking and above all very friendly.
Could do with a bit bigger TV and many channels were not available. Could do with an adjustable shower head - the spray was needle sharp so not relaxing.
